KIDSPACE REVIEWS
Children who are on the spectrum, have emotional or developmental issues, have sensory processing or behavioral issues, you will find help here. I think Kidspace is a fantastic resource. Add it to Children's Council, Support for Families, CTRP and therapists like Amy Klatzkin, Richard King and Karen Wolfe who are experts in child development- and who will help your child.
This is a great place for children & parents. My son attended twice-weekly OT sessions for one year. If we hadn't moved out of the city, he would still be a client. Diagnosed with Autism, Sensory Processing Disorder & a severe Speech delay, my 2-year-old son needed lots of help. Our therapist (Kelly Hevenor) worked patiently and my son showed amazing results.

The people here provide more than just clinical assistance. The waiting room has 2 huge binders of articles that you can take for free, a community bulletin board with helpful services, special group sessions for summer or getting ready for school and moral support. There is a lending library for therapeutic listening therapy. I can not speak highly enough of Kidspace. There are so many therapists offering a wide variety of services that there is sure to be a perfect fit for your family.

World of OT is a community-based pediatric occupational therapy center in San Fransisco. They work with the children like one of the family members to help the child reach their highest potential. Ushma is the center's founder, an occupational therapist who makes a powerful impact in increasing children's skills. Additionally, they serve the child and their whole world-from families and teachers to fellow OTs. They provide OT services in the child's natural environment-home, park, or school, depending on the child's needs, team vision, and goals. They offer consultation services and educational seminars at schools and organizations that serve children to equip and empower their teachers and staff to support the different learning styles of the children they serve. Last but not least, they support OTs new to the school system to hit the ground running with confidence rather than overwhelm them with all the knowledge and resources they need through an online self-paced CEU course. They extend their services and consultations beyond San Francisco through their telehealth program, catering to children, teachers, and other occupational therapists.

WORLD OF OT REVIEWS
We had the pleasure of working with Ushma for a year. Because of her skillful and individualized interventions, we saw dramatic improvement in a short period of time. For starters, Ushma provided us with the most detailed and thorough initial report I've ever seen from a occupational therapist (OT). Trust me, I'm a nurse. I've seen plenty. She's incredibly responsive, and offers the most helpful advice, as you navigate challenges and day-to-day activities. Pre-pandemic, we'd have our sessions at a local playground, which we really enjoyed. Our sessions are now in the comfort of our own backyard, and somehow she manages to make them just as fun. One of the things I appreciate most about Ushma is her child-led approach, collaborating effortlessly with our little one. We will forever be grateful for Ushma's help. It's not just us that sees how impactful her work has been with our child. Our school has mentioned it multiple times as well, and now regularly refers other students to her! I can't say enough good things about Ushma. Contact her, she's the OT BFF you need in your life.
Ushma and World of OT are experts. If you want the best knowledge and support for your child and yourself as a parent World of OT is the place for your OT needs. Ushma is energetic and my kids gravitated to her immediately. She is also great at parent education and support. She will help your whole system--family and school learn to support your child. World of OT is also great at teaching children self-advocacy and independence. My son knows how to take care of him self and ask for what supports he needs at school.
Ushma is one of the most dedicated, creative, and resourceful OTs I've ever worked with! She is a gifted therapist with a passion for her profession and for her patients. She goes above and beyond with each and every student. I highly recommend Ushma and World of OT! - RP.

CONNECTED KIDZ OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY REVIEWS
This place did miracles for our son! Maya Fok was our therapist and we followed her from CPMC where she used to teach before. Our son absolutely loved his sessions with Maya. He learned to control his body so well, that after graduation we were able to sign him up for rock climbing and taught him how to ski downhill. He used to be afraid of heights and had problems balancing - now he is an expert climber at any playground we visit.
I can't say enough about this place! My daughter has a mild sensory processing issue and "Ms. Kelsey" has worked wonders. I've seen my daughter grow and build confidence that it brings me to tears. There is too much stigma around these issues but this place makes you feel safe, welcome, and supportive.
