"Iroquois Park provides diverse amenities, including a theater, basketball courts, an 18-hole golf course, a disc golf course, and a riding stable. Frederick Law Olmsted masterfully designed the park and is renowned for his work on Cherokee Park and Shawnee Park in Louisville, strategically positioned on the city's outskirts at the time of its creation. The park is situated on a substantial knob enveloped by a majestic old-growth forest, with its most remarkable feature being the breathtaking viewpoints atop the hill. Each summer, Louisville Metro Parks and partnering companies organize concerts, musicals, and other shows at the Iroquois Amphitheater and give entertainment for visitors to enjoy.

2026 Update: Iroquois Park covers about 725 acres of wooded terrain with scenic overlooks at the hilltop. It includes one of the largest tulip poplar trees in the Louisville Metro Parks system. They offer a wide mix of recreation, including archery, disc golf, horseback riding, a golf course, a sprayground, and a wheelchair-accessible playground."
