TOP 3 BECKLEY CREEK PARK REVIEWS
Always a great time at Beckley Creek Park. The dog park is nice and well kept filled with regular, responsible dog owners. The playground and splash park is fun for the little ones with lots of equipment. The egg lawn is a wide open space and the trails really have something for everyone - bikers, hikers, walkers, dog walkers, kayakers, etc. The farmers markets, soccer fields, and communal garden just add to the fun. There is a nature center as well but don't know much about the offerings from there. Great parking too, tons of spots spread throughout the park.
Encountered this sweet bird at the shelter near the visitor center. Hoping someone nearby is looking for their pet. An absolute gem to have near my neighborhood. Walking, hiking, biking, kayaking, soccer fields, dog park, playground. The list goes on. Places like this are community money (not taxpayers funded) well spent. A snack bar or some vending would be a welcome addition so you don't have to haul in your water after a bike/walk/skate/hike.
Always a beautiful park. We bring our dogs here to the pup park & they have a blast. Long hiking trails thru the wooded areas & paved path ways along the roads make for easy walking & biking. Plus they have a awesome Shaved icey truck that keeps the kids happy all summer long.

TOP 3 CHEROKEE PARK REVIEWS
Such a peaceful place to go have a picnic, walk the paved road, bike the paved road or take the bike or your own two feet and your dogs 4 feet for a walk on the trails. With over 400 acres nestled in the city of Louisville. Places with play areas for kids, water fountains , creeks you can probably play in, if you like a little splash in the water. Get out see some deer and other wildlife while letting all your stress go with some peaceful nature and relax a little.
Great place to go for a relaxing walk, run, or bike ride. Weather you walk along the motor route or take the nature trails fresh air is hard to beat. Great place to unwind and forget about your drab and stress filled day. Dog friendly too.
Lovely park with great scenery. They is a specific scenic trail for both driver and walkers that's about 2.5 miles. I chose the walk and it was very peaceful and I encountered birds and a few deer along the walk.

TOP 3 JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FOREST REVIEWS
A great place for a weekend of camping and hiking! The group sites were spacious and spread out from surrounding sites. The water on-site and port-a-potties nearby made for a nice, casual camping experience but still felt like being in the wilderness. The ability to walk to trails from the campsite was a huge bonus! Would camp here again.
This place is amazing. You can catch some fish and relax or explore many of the trails. There are super easy trails and then there is a trail that is 6 miles long and will really challenge you. If you like nature then this is the place for you.
I love it here. It's got great hiking trails, wonders views, abundance of wild life, a well stocked lake for viewing or fishing, picnic/grilling area, and a small play ground for the kids. Would recommend for anyone to stop here..
