BECKLEY CREEK PARK REVIEWS
Our high energy Jasper loves the dog park here. Big dogs, small dogs, he doesn't care, just enjoys making Fido friends. Every dog owner I have met here has been friendly! And this sweet boy is exhausted (thankfully) when we get home. The park is clean, well maintained, and a safe place to let the puppers run and be, well...dogs!
What a delightful and incredible Shangri-la! There is something for everyone!!!! No exaggeration. It may be a bit far out, but it is worth the drive. This is truly one of the nicest places in our state!
First time in Kentucky and as a park lover I was thrilled to find this huge beautiful runnable walkable dog friendly park with miles of trails. Highly recommend.

CHEROKEE PARK REVIEWS
Drove through Louisville on our way to Nashville with the pup. Needed a place to stretch our legs. Found this park on the map & gave it a shot, was SO impressed!! A local told us the park's architect was the same person who designed Central Park in NYC. It felt safe, was populated, & had tons of fun trails covered in shade to help with the hot summer sun. 100% would recommend!!!
My favorite park ever. Or at least in Kentucky! My dogs and I have so much fun doing all of the hidden trails throughout Cherokee in the wooded areas. You can mountain bike on the trails, too! Dogs swimming in creeks and plenty of fresh air.
Very cute park! If you are into running or doing long walks this is a perfect park for you and your pets. You will see a lot of nature and cute little lakes, definitely a cute park to come to. ^^

JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FOREST REVIEWS
Good place for hiking, there are trails for everyone. Outdoor barbecues are all over the place. They alos have bathrooms and playground for children. The fishing is pretty good and the place is well kept.
Really nice. Hiked the Yost Ridge Trail to Lake Mitchell with my 3 dogs and it was beautiful. Seems Copperheads are common in the area but we didn't see any. Whew.
I thought the park was absolutely gorgeous during the fall season and the hiking trails were varied from easy, moderate to strenuous activity level. The trek to the lake was enjoyable experience and so tranquil.
