We scheduled dance lessons for our first dance at our wedding. We were scheduled with Dakota (Red). Our introductory class was relaxing, getting to know what we wanted in our dance, the song, etc. he taught us some basic waltz steps. By the next class he had our performance choreographed and we got to work. 6 weeks, a lot of practice, a lot of laughs, and a whole lot of dancing! Red and Allison really worked with us through the process ,correcting, encouraging, and always keeping us moving toward our goal. Nailing that first dance. I can’t thank them enough for creating a beautiful dance that wow’s the crowd. We will be looking at more classes. They are gem to the dance community of Louisville.

My Fiancé (now my wife) Chelsea and I starting working with Dakota and Allison several weeks before our wedding to put together a custom dance to our custom wedding song. Neither of us are dancers, and my goodness did that show at lesson 1! Nonetheless, Dakota and Allison worked with us to develop a beautiful choreographed dance that we were able to absolutely nail on the day of. Absolute highlight of our wedding and we will always be grateful to them for helping us put it all together. Highly recommend working with them to anyone looking to add a little something special to their big day.

My daughter has danced at udc for 14 years. In that time she has participated in recreational dance and competitive dance. Wonderful caring and knowledgeable instructors that help develop and push child to be the best dancer they can. Along the way teaching my child the value of working as a team player and sportsmanship. The studio also provides many wonderful opportunities for children who might think that they would want a career in dance some day.

My daughter has danced before with another company and I was not pleased which is why we made the switch to Upstage Dance Center. I cannot say enough good things about this company and their employees. Upstage has quickly turned into a second home for my daughter and she loves being there. The staff is wonderful and go above and beyond what they are expected to do...They have even called to remind me of certain dates and times when my mom brain kicks in and I forget. My daughter has improved tremendously in her dance skills and I cannot wait to see how far she can go! I would recommend Upstage Dance Center to anyone looking for a dance school.
