MAD DOGS BRITISH PUB REVIEWS

A great choice along the Riverwalk! The elevated seating area gives you a perfect view of the river and makes for some top-tier people-watching (yes, it’s definitely fun). It was nice and quiet when we visited, which made for a super relaxing experience. The menu is simple but offers something for everyone. The portions are generous—especially the appetizers. I ordered tacos from the appetizer section, and they were easily a full meal on their own. Definitely a spot I’d visit again!

Great spot. Food was fantastic. Fish and chips were very good. Drinks and service were great. Soda tasted a little weird but otherwise awesome spot!

We hit this spot for dinner on game night - it was buzzing. Got the flatbread and veg burger with sweet potato fries. Flatbread needed more crisp. Burger lacked lettuce/greens. Service was solid - funny greeter wanted to make biryani someday and the waiter was friendly too.

Visited for lunch with coworkers while in town for business. They had the hot dogs and said they were okay. I had the fish and chips which were okay. Great atmosphere as it's on the canal. Service was okay. They had live music on the piano while we were there, which was actually really nice!

The atmosphere was really nice. We dined inside and it was perfect to get away from the heat and cool off. There was an employee there playing piano live during our meal and singing. She was amazing at interacting with us and other guests. The food was really good as well. We ordered egg rolls, fish and chips, and sheppards pie. Everything was hot and fresh! The only weird thing was I ordered Diet Coke and it had a faint alcohol taste in it. I did mention this to our server and she had no issue remaking it for me, but it still had the taste. I didn't bring it up again because I knew it wasn't an issue anyone caused. They use paper straws, so if we find ourselves in Durty Nelly's again, we will bring our reusable straws.

Decent food. Great atmosphere went twice in a week. It was right below my Hilton hotel. The piano players are funny and make good joke tunes. Its good to go by yourself but better with a group. Make sure you sit where you can see the piano.

First time...Love this place. Pool tables take bills, Bartenders are amazing, talented, beautiful and cool, DJ was Hype and kept the place lit. Video playing with songs. ...what else can I say....and Underground with inexpensive drinks!

First time here from out of town and the bartenders were rude I had to approach them myself and say “hello” to get a drink. One of them was nice enough to help me the rest were very unprofessional only helping who they knew. For the first time here the music was awesome the bartenders I rate them a 1.

Pax South 2020 mixer hangout spot! Definitely a great location to accommodate everyone unwinding after the convention each night. Great staff.
