SUSHI YASAKA REVIEWS
Sushi Yasaka is one of my favourite sushi restaurants in NYC. It serves very authentic Japanese food, including a delicious omakase. Since we went at lunch, they only had the mini-omakase available. But even this included a fatty cut of tuna nigiri, a piece of uni nigiri without nori (how often do you see that?), and a toro roll. We also ordered an uni maki roll, which is also very rarely seen in restaurants. Sadly, inflation has caused the price to increase from $9 about 7 years ago to $15 today. Finally, we also had the agedashi tofu and the sauteed mushrooms (which seemed to be cooked with sake). Both were excellent. To finish the meal, we ate a matcha tiramisu which had matcha ice cream and the sweetest strawberries with cream. Despite the increase in price of the uni roll, the meal still remained very affordable, especially when compared to other sushi restaurants in Manhattan. I still highly recommend paying a visit!
The staff is absolutely amazing! The sushi is one of the best in the upper west side! The host is lovely and so is the entire staff. I love this place and buy food here atleast a few times per week.
Love coming here for the good quality fish, reasonable prices and yummy food! Tough to get a seat as it is so popular in evening. Lunch specials are also a really good value. Only wish they delivered higher into UWS!

ASUKA SUSHI REVIEWS
I've been coming here for years. Always serving fresh sushi. If sushi is not for you, then the chicken Thai basil was fresh and delicious. Generous portions. Lots of service. Food arrives quickly. Fun atmosphere, but space is a bit tight with tables close together.
Was looking for a place for dinner with the wife and stumbled upon this gem. We were visiting from MD and love trying new places when we get the chance. Absolutely love the good and the service! Even though we came a little late they were still very welcoming and full of smiles. The sushi was second to none and wish we had more time to come back and try more of their menu. Prices are not too high but not cheap but with the quality the price was very reasonable. Definitely recommend!
Great price and sushi , prices are very good . Service was amazing, I had server Aye hopefully I’m spelling it right. I recommend spicy yellow tail roll.

BLUE RIBBON SUSHI REVIEWS
The Japanese establishment in Soho has become a personal favorite of mine. It offers a serene dining experience with high-quality food, free from overwhelming crowds and excessive noise. While the interior is straightforward, the ambiance and food quality are exceptional. The attentive servers are ready to recommend dishes if you're undecided. Guests are warmly welcomed with a traditional Japanese greeting. Overall, it's a fantastic spot for an authentic Japanese experience in the heart of NYC.
I went to eat with some friends and we received excellent service, the waitress was in charge of helping us with our order about which was the best sushi. The cooks welcomed us in a very pleasant way. We ordered sushi, my favorite was California roll and the dumplings were delicious.
Came here for a late lunch with a friend and had a great time. Luckily it wasn’t busy and the staff were super kind and attentive. We ordered a couple rolls and also the shumai. It was all very tasty.
