SUSHI YASAKA REVIEWS
We have ordered from Yasaka a few dozen times, it is our go to spot for good sushi on the UWS without breaking the budget. Reasonably priced, good quality, super quick delivery. The restaurant gets very packed during peak hours.
I had Sushi Yasaka for the lunch special. Usually when we talk about lunch special you would think they're giving you lower quality scraps, however Sushi Yasaka does not compromise on quality. The lunch special came with a choice of soup or salad, 6 pieces of nigiri (which were all very good quality fish), and a roll of your choice (i had the unagi/eel). It was all very good and for the price I cant see any better sushi in the area.
Master class on how to serve fresh and tasty sushi at a competitive price point. Talk about bang for your buck. If you’re not feeling sushi, try the tempura udon. Its chewy noodles are a fun contrast to the crunchy shrimp and veggie tempura. The broth is satisfying in its simple and refreshing flavor profile. Sushi Yasaka should be a staple institution for any sushi lover in NYC.

ASUKA SUSHI REVIEWS
Service is great. Miso soup is good (had better) but it’s decent, sushi rolls are always fresh and very good, certain rolls may have a bit too much rice to my taste, but I generally really like it and always come back! Also, they have a great variety of a selection which is really one of the reasons I always want to come.
My favorite Manhattan Japanese restaurant. Nice Lunch Specials available M-F and sushi is always a favorite. Brown rice available for a small surcharge. Generous portions. Service is always prompt and courteous. Other great lunch specials include Bento Boxes and various rice and noodle options. Great ambience. Perfect corner spacious location. Clean and charming.
Sat at the bar and was taken care of 100%. Sushi was amazing (Coconut Shrimp), big portions as well! The appetiser was super delicious, I had the truffled white tuna. So good! The Guava Cosmo was also nice. But the Creme Brulee was incredible.

BLUE RIBBON SUSHI REVIEWS
Wow! This is some of the best sushi I’ve ever eaten! We sat at the bar and watched the chefs make magic right before our eyes. They were super busy yet every plate was skillfully crafted with precision and FAST! It was *very* fresh and every taste was a delicate flavor bomb. I was actually sad when we finished… I wanted more.
Came in for lunch and service was great. Got seated early for our reservation and the sushi came out quickly. Cute place and they were busy...but not busy, if that makes sense. We ended up ordering a second round it was that good.
I haven’t tasted as good sushi as I tried at this place. No soy is needed. The freshness of the fish is enough. All the suggestions that are made by the waiter were exceptionally tasteful. Every piece of sushi has put a massive smile on my face. You can tell the sushi master has treated the fish in perfection to bring out the flavors. The moment we entered the restaurant, we were greeted by the staff, which has set the mood for a great experience. Best sushi place so far.
