3 Best Towing Companies in Austin, TX

I called early Sunday morning and needed a tow from the north side to the south side. I called and received a quote over the phone and the resulting tow was the same as quote. Very reasonable and in a timely fashion. The man who met me was very outgoing and we had a few laughs about the spray painted van. We loaded up the van very easily with the truck and drove to destination. Van was dropped off in location I requested and I am very thankful for that. If it was any faster they would have been called lightning towing. Thanks.

No one wants to deal with a towing company, but if you must, this is the one to do so. Rick is a sweetheart and will go out of his way to make things less painful. He was also good at calming my frazzled nerves.I spent so many calls figuring out how to get my grandson’s car out that I will almost miss our calls now that the car is out. lol But it was the best (for lack of a better word) towing company experiences I ever had…actually make it the only good experience. Showed up quickly and towed us 30 miles total to a suburb of Austin. Very professional and careful, super friendly. I hope I don’t need them again but I would call them if needed :)

Was referred to A-Tex by another tow company when my truck suddenly wouldn't start after running errands. David showed up within minutes of calling. He arrived, lifted the hood of my truck, checked for possible issues with the starter and the alternator and was able to determine that it just needed a good, long jump - which he did - to recharge the battery enough to get it home without a tow. He even took it for a test drive for me to make sure that it wouldn't stall on my way home - AND offered to follow me home, just in case I stalled again. Then, since he didn't need to tow me, he refunded a good portion of the tow charge back to me. David was friendly, quick, and knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to check my truck for issues, and to ensure that I got home quickly and safety. Will definitely keep his card in my wallet permanently.

I had to have a truck towed twice during its service at a mechanic, and I drove in from Rockport , and David at A-Tex helped me jovially both times, and calmed me down during the first visit at a time where I was incredibly stressed , and he helped me jump a truck that we hadn’t had running in four years and had an anomalous hybrid battery. David did a great job both times, and I recommend A-Tex highly and will use in the future anytime I’m near Austin if I need a tow! Thanks again!
