I've stayed at the Fairmont multiple times during SXSW and have really enjoyed my experience. the rooms are clean and supplied with helpful amenities. the pool is very nice and the lobby bar is a great place for meeting up with friends. the staff is very helpful as well. my only issue with this current visit is that they had changed key card locks on my floor during my stay, and while they provided replacement ones in advance, they did not work initially, nor did they work for the elevators or pool area. i alerted front desk and they did assist but it was inconvenient when i just needed to get into my room after a late night or a quick freshen up before dinner.

What a beautiful, beautiful hotel! More importantly, the all-around customer service has been phenomenal! Cooper I. Was absolutely professional, kind, just plain outstanding! Micah was also very, very pleasant! Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and will definitely be back and use this property again! Very courteous people! Very nice entertainment!

One of the nicest, cleanest, friendliest, easiest hotels I have ever stayed at. We stayed on the Gold Floor, would highly recommend! Every single staff member went out of their way to assist us in every way possible. Our room was spotlessly clean. The hotel was modern and the food delicious!

We enjoyed High Tea at the Driscol Sunday afternoon, March 16. The experience was lovely. Tea is served in 3 courses, scone and lemon poppyseed cakes with fruit and oolong tea; savory with black tea and desserts with an herbal tea. Champagne or sparkling juice. Beautifully presented. Delicious. Yes, it is a “splurge.” One my daughter-in-law and I enjoyed!

An Austin landmark and one of the few remaining examples of glorious old architecture. We went for a light bite in their lobby before going to Antone's. Our sandwiches were top -notch. The server was pleasant, attentive, and efficient. Relaxing, quiet atmosphere. Their music venue was closed for renovations. Well worth a visit!

Spent a weekend here last month. Thoughtfully renovated historic hotel with crisp interior room colors and warm public spaces. Elegant. Comfortable. Excellent coffee shop/bakery and active afternoon bar scene for the over 50 demographic. Great location for walking Austin.

My husband and small kids and I stayed over the weekend and enjoyed it thoroughly! Honestly, the shower alone deserves 10 stars. The service was phenomenal. Our room was clean, comfortable and spacious. We ate at both Corner and Deans’s during our stay and both were amazing. You’re going to pay a pretty penny for parking but both valet and self-parking were safe and efficient and we have no complaints about that either. Excited to come back. All the staff was really kind and helpful as well.

This hotel never disappoints! It’s right in the heart of downtown with excellent service and top-notch amenities. The lobby bar is lively with music and drinks, while the pool and Edge Bar are great for both families and solo travelers. The gym is spacious, the spa is fantastic, and the executive lounge (for those with status) offers great food and drinks. It’s usually busy, but that’s because there’s so much to do. Highly recommended!

Our stay was wonderful and Jessica went above and beyond at every opportunity! Restaurants and happy hours were great! Pool was so nice. We loved everything about this hotel - location, service, convenience, house keeping was exceptional. Wished we could have stayed longer! Thank you Jessica!
