I highly recommend ALC for tutoring services. They have tutored my children in many different academic subjects including calculus, geometry, and SAT prep. With the SAT tutoring services, my child's SAT score increased, and they kept my child on track with a required study curriculum and schedule for improvement. The higher SAT score helped my child when applying for colleges by allowing my child to apply for, and become accepted to, more school options.

One of the best choices I made was bringing my son here. I was skeptical at first as we had issues with another tutoring center “chain”, but I could not be more pleased. My son has brought up his math grade two full letter grades and actually ENJOYS going to his sessions (which is saying something in his case!). He said that they actually take time to explain the work, instead of having him do it on his own then just “grading” it when finished like the other center we previously went to. I would recommend to anyone whose child is in need of a little extra help.
In four weeks, my daughter’s progress was incredible. She went from a 1.7-3.4 in math and 2.1-2.5 in reading. The director and tutors listen to what your child’s needs are and do whatever is needed to have them succeed. On top of that, they are lovely people. I couldn’t be more grateful for everything they are doing for my daughter.
My experience has been seamless. Jan has been very helpful with all steps to get my son onboard and learning! My daughter did a block of hours when she was in Kindergarten and got caught up on many things for her age as she had been between 2 schools. Now my son is here and catching up on skills that he needs to complete 3rd Grade FSA's. I am so happy we came to Sylvan for tutoring. I would highly recommend them.

MATHNASIUM OF ST PETERSBURG REVIEWS
My child has attended Mathnasium a couple of times throughout school-- once in elementary school when he was struggling and again as an 9th and 9th grader after he'd experienced some pretty serious learning loss due to the pandemic. Mathnasium's program was so effective when he was in elementary school that I knew immediately where to turn in middle school. The staff at the St. Pete location is great. They communicate well, the tutors were great, and they accommodated our schedule changes as need. I cannot recommend their services enough. My son was comfortable and made incredible progress while he was there. He gained the skills and confidence he needed and is doing really well in math now.
Since my Daughter's Attendance, to Mathnasium, Her Math Skills , have surpassed her school expectations. I feel she is better prepared for her education future challenges. My thanks to the Mathnasium math teachers for their selfless dedication and ability to mentor students to achieve a better scope,to their educational opportinities.
