I had my first ever dry needling / acupuncture session with Teddy and it was amazing! I was nervous and he made me feel very comfortable and educated me on the process. I have always been a very tense person and due to high stress, my muscles around my neck and upper back tighten up so much that it affects my posture. Teddy did dry needling in the areas where I experience the most tension in that area and I have never felt so relaxed as I did after my session! He also did some dry needling in my hips which helped so much and I noticed a big difference going up & down stairs. I will definitely be back.

This is the best trigger point therapy treatment center in NYC. Seriously. I had this annoying pain and tightness in my upper trap. Although I had never done acupuncture or dry needling before, I gave it a shot. I went to Teddy for a trigger point release session. Teddy is super passionate and understands what he does really really well. So after just one session, my entire back was released and continues to feel absolutely amazing. Tbh, I’m not sure you can find the type of treatment that Morningside Acupuncture provides anywhere else. It’s a very unique service. Anyways, highly recommended. You’ll literally wish you scheduled a session sooner.

Thanks to Nick at Morningside Acupuncture and the rest of my care team, I was able to successfully complete my first marathon feeling confident and prepared. Nick is gentle, open, honest and accommodating. Each time I felt discomfort after a run in my training program, I knew that going to see Nick would get me back in shape. This experience has truly changed the way I think about rehab and recovery and I am so grateful.

AHC has been life changing! I’ve been going in for acupuncture regularly - Rimma and Bianca are both fantastic. They are attuned, compassionate, super supportive and so insightful. They always meet me where I’m at and know exactly how to support my specific needs. Dr Irina is also fantastic - so personable, knowledgeable and gave me lots of specific suggestions for what I need support with. Overall, I love coming in and have been feeling better hormonally, with pain, and general mental health and well being. They are all very attentive and flexible with scheduling and I couldn’t be more grateful I found them.

Super nice experience. I felt so much better after the treatment! I have to say—the acupuncturist here is absolutely amazing! :) I've been to multiple places for treatment for my chronic shoulder pain, and I can honestly say the acupuncturist here has the best technique by far. They pinpoint exactly where the tension is every single time. The atmosphere is really relaxing too, with calming essential oil scents as soon as I walked in.

I am constantly talking about how the Advanced Holistic Center changed my life for the better. Their Acupuncture treatments and knowledgable, lovely staff have changed my life. I've felt noticeably healthier and more in tune with my body since last year, where I began weekly sessions after an leg injury that I've since recovered from. I highly recommend any of their treatments, plus they take insurance.

Acupuncture at WTHN is apart of my routine and is one of my favorite places. There are genuinely so many skilled acupuncturists but my loyalty lies with Anna! She is my saving grace and is a patient, amazing healer. I feel very comfortable and at ease in her care and at WTHN. She is a careful listener and targets the areas that need attention. I have only had positive experiences over these past 5+ years.

This is not your average acupuncture experience! From the moment you walk into WTHN, you know it is a special place. My practitioner took a few minutes to understand why I was there and then my session started. What I also love is the option to listen to a guided meditation or meditation music during the session. I felt so relaxed.

Today was my first ever acupuncture session and truly I have never felt more relief in my body then after Dr. Nicole Harkness treated me. I’m so limber I could do the limbo right after I swear by it!
