3 Best Assisted Living Facilities in San Diego, CA

I cannot thank the Belmont Sabre Springs team enough for guiding me through the senior living process. After losing my mom, my father needed a safe place that would treat him with dignity, respect and support. The food is incredible, their team, particularly Nadine, goes above & beyond always. It's a wonderful home for any aging parent! And feels like home.

We needed an assisted living facility that offered a wide range of care for its residents to accommodate my parents’ individual needs. Belmont Village is the perfect solution for our family! The facility itself is beautiful, bright, and uplifting, with lots of activities and services offered. Most importantly, the caregiving staff and administrators are so wonderful! I can rest so much easier knowing that my parents are being looked after by people who really care about them. I also really appreciate that there is a nurse on site at all times. Belmont Village truly has been such a wonderful choice for my parents!

We couldn't be happier with Belmont Village Saber Springs. Our mom loves living there. She likes her apartment, the facility, loves the food. She feels safe there. She loves the fact that they always know where she is, it makes her feel safe. She's made a lot of friends there. And all of this makes our hearts full knowing that she is getting everything that she needs, like getting her medications everyday, and eating good meals, and exercising, and socializing.

My mom has been here for a couple weeks now. She loves it here. The staff are great and attentive to the needs of patient and family. Mom loves the food and the grounds are nice to walk around. She's making great progress and they are even helping us to order what my mom will need when she goes home! Cosette is a wealth of information and Lydia is amazingly helpful with anything you could need Micaela keeps track of everything appointment related and Michelle the OT is fabulous! Happy we came here!!

We got a place in memory care for my mom and her husband now for a place in assisted living, but they want to be together all the time, so every morning he gets dressed and spends the entire day in memory care- he takes his meals there with her and does all the daily planned activities. The other day I was visiting and he told me my mom was complaining the day before about not feeling well. They called a nurse 3 times to come do her vitals. He said to me than each nurse was so nice and that everyone that works there is so nice and happy- it really settled my heart that we made the best decision for my mom.

A Place for Mom helped set up interviews with several assisted care facilities for my father. After touring them, we ultimately decided on Bayshire Torrey Pines. It has turned out to be an excellent choice. Everyone is kind and caring here. Is it a beautiful facility with efficient staff, lots of activities and a nice menu. We have utilized the included Transportation service a couple times to doctor appointments, which makes those visits much easier. My dad has made new friends and tells me often how much he enjoys it here. Many of the staff know him by name, and recognize me as well . I think being at Bayshire really helps with his recovery from his car accident.
