What an experience. It was “Love at First Sight” for me. I found my dress on my first visit and first time shopping for a dress. We had the VIP experience and the dress selection, privacy, music selection, patience, personal attention, mimosas, and light refreshments were absolutely more than I could have dreamed of. I was even more thankful for the plethora of varieties for plus sizes. Thank you Kayla and Hayes for calming my nerves and making my day special.

I had an amazing experience both times I visited Gavin Christianson Bridal. During my first appointment, Gineen was so incredibly attentive to me as a bride to be and knowledgeable about her inventory as she helped me narrow down to 2 dresses. My bridesmaids and I promised one another we’d tell all our friends about how amazing GC Bridal is whether I purchased a dress there or not. I went back a week after my initial visit and had an amazing experience with Kayla and ended up purchasing my dream dress! Thank you GC Bridal! I cannot rave enough about the service. Had a great experience! Brought in a dress from a consignment store that was apparently from the 60s. I loved the lace, but the dress was too small. The owner took the dress apart, remade the inner white layer to my measurements with new fabric, and then added back the (delicate and certainly difficult to work with) vintage lace. The final product looked and felt great, and it held up well to dancing! Bustled beautifully as well.

I made the bad call of ordering a dress from an on-line boutique....it came but was not like it was pictured nor did it fit well despite sending in my measurements. Luckily, I got a last minute appointment at the Bridal Boutique 6 weeks before my wedding. After trying on 8 other dresses, I found the most beautiful gown AND it was on sale! There were only minor tweaks needed for the perfect fit, but the owner altered it quickly and was so sweet throughout the entire process. I am so happy and have no regret with choosing the Bridal Boutique of NC.

Came down from Wilmington to get a wedding dress. Found the perfect one. It started out sleeveless, and she flawlessly was able to sew on sleeves. She was very accommodating and took great care each visit down I made for alterations. She was very timely, has very great skill and is very knowledgeable in the wedding gown industry.

I came in about 2 weeks before my wedding date and picked out the perfect pair to go with my dress. She has an adorable shop in Durham and it was an amazing experience. 10/10 recommend her and her business!!

I LOVE this jewelry! It’s fun, feminine, classy and very stylish and cool, without being too trendy. Most of all, it’s BEAUTIFUL and so well made. I have not taken off my earrings since I got them a week ago and get so many compliments! Thea is fabulous to work with. Super creative, great customer service, and delightful to talk to. I highly recommend for wedding accessories and special occasion jewelry as well as every day wear!

Thea is the epitome of artistic-creativity with a smile! She helped me pick through the wedding belts in her studio that best matched my dress. I highly recommend Hushed Commotion!
