"Johnson Driving Academy is a AAA-certified instructor and offers 4 and 8-hour classes. Their driver education classes and behind-the-wheel instruction are offered during the week. All instructors are certified by the North Carolina DMV to provide driver education according to North Carolina law. Johnson Driving School, LLC begins and ends lessons at the school's location. I am glad to share this review about the Above Average Diriving School Inc. As a mature person, I needed to take a driving test, so approached this school. They suggested Mr. Sandy and I had classes behind the wheel with him. He is a very punctual and well-knowledgeable person to teach driving. He explained all the small nuances in everything in a systematic manner. I appreciate him. I would love to recommend this school for driving training.

I was taught to drive by Mr. Sandy, and I can’t recommend him highly enough! I was an adult student who had never driven in the United States before, so I was quite nervous. Mr. Sandy was patient, understanding, and provided clear, helpful instruction throughout all our sessions. I passed my driving test on the first try and even booked an additional session with him afterward to work on highway driving. Great instructor!.

I had the best driving school experience; my instructor was excellent. Though heading into it, I felt it was going to be an incredibly boring week, my driving instructor, Ms. Tracy, did a great job. She kept everyone engaged and did a great job drilling things into my mind. Even when I was slightly drifting off, my instructor knew exactly and was checking up on me. Even on the screen, I still felt like I was in a classroom with Ms. Tracy. Sorry for making this long but thank you so much again, Above Average Driving School!.

Absolutely recommend this driving school! I’ve only driven in an empty parking lot before but I would like to get my license now asap so I booked a 5h package. My instructor Lashana is super sweet, helpful, and knowledgeable. I was very stressed before the test but she comforted me a lot and was very supportive. I was able to pass the road test in one go after this 5h package. Becky who I had been emailing with to schedule lessons and renting car for road test day had been very responsive and I was able to rent the car when I got a road test appointment kinda last minute. Update: I took the test and indeed passed.

Thank you for instilling confidence in my driving. Thanks to the training I received from Ms. Lashane and Mr. Joe, I successfully passed my DMV test. I had never touched a steering wheel before starting my training, but after just the first day, I felt comfortable on the road. I highly recommend this school and want to express my gratitude to my instructors, Joe and Lashane.

I’ve never had a driver’s license before and after one session with my instructor Trina, I became confident enough to drive on the road. She is great and very helpful. I had two sessions with her in total. I drove with my husband for two months, and I got my license! Btw, the scheduling staff was also very helpful and efficient!.

My Son had a very positive experience with Johnson Driving Academy. The instructors made him feel comfortable, and gave him the confidence he needed to get through the class. I appreciated always been informed of each step of the process and how professionally we were treated. My Teen passed the Permit Test on his 1st attempt. Looking forward to enrolling my next child with them.

KK has her Permit!! Huge shout out to Johnson Driving Academy!! Ms. Pam led KK's online classes on the weekends, her driving classes with Mr. Bullock only took 3 days. KK went straight to the Carrboro DMV and passed on her first try due to their Excellent Training. Highly recommend! 10/10 stars!!.

My daughter had such a positive experience with Johnson Driving Academy. Ms. Pam and Mr. Wearing were very personable, patient and encouraging with her behind the wheel training. We would highly recommend this school for drivers ed training.
