WASHINGTON DUKE INN & GOLF CLUB REVIEWS

We were very lucky to celebrate our 23rd anniversary at the same location we had our wedding. It was no surprise now as it was then, on the excellent service throughout our stay. The food was phenomenal and the creme brûlée worthy of mentioning. The Washington Duke management and staff went out of their way to make it very special for us. We will be back and highly recommend this hotel.

I came for dinner this week and the food was excellent!!! Our server, jenna, was amazing, she was so friendly, answered all my questions about the menu, and managed all of my dietary restrictions with ease. Usually when I eat out i get annoyance or get pushback about certain substitutions but jenna was so sweet, it wasn’t a big deal, the food arrived as requested and was delicious.

A really beautiful location for business meetings—we especially enjoyed the jogging train and seeing the magnificent Duke campus. Catering, bar, and restaurant were all top notch.

I’ve stayed here several times with my husband and we love it! It’s such a cool old building and the staff are so friendly! If you can talk to Stan! He’s such a great guy and knows a lot of the history of the building. Also check out the art exhibits and go to the Counting House for dinner one night. Such a special place.

Everyone at the hotel made sure we had a great time. The staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay for our wedding was memorable. They provided great service and lots of little touches that raised the bar of our expectations for what a hotel stay can and should feel. We will definitely be staying again.

This is my new favorite place to stay in downtown Durham. It's in a great location for me when I visit our Durham office. I really like the vibe and all of the artwork in lobby. My room was very spacious and well appointed. That staff were quite friendly and helpful.

Beautiful hotel. The decor was absolutely stunning. Very courteous and professional staff. However, on line it advertised that they served breakfast in which they did not. I know since the pandemic a lot of places started doing bag breakfast at least. I told the staff that their info needs to be updated on the website. Besides the not serving breakfast I enjoyed my stay.

We stayed here due to its close proximity to Duke's Transplant Center, and everything was great. Rooms were clean, staff followed covid safety protocols, and there was a little snack area in the lobby if needed. Will definitely use again.

Best hotel for the price that we stay at in the area. I have to come to Duke Cancer center every 3 months and I am from Ohio. We use Medstay for our discounted rate. If you have to come to any of Dukes hospitals use Medstay and save money. The cancer center is minutes away and close to the interstate to head back home. Clean smoke free pet friendly hotel. Smoke your marijuana outside no hassle either. Can tell a lot of construction people and people going to hospitals come here.
