FIVE HAPPINESS REVIEWS
I've been going to this restaurant for decades. It is beautiful & spacious. I find that the service has always been wonderful. I had e been back for a few years though because to me the food had gotten kind of so-so. I just went back this past week with my daughters & their grandmothers. The food was excellent again! From the wonton soup through the crab Rangoon, fried rice & our entrees, everything was delicious. Even the iced tea was good. And, we all had enough leftovers to fill us up at another mealtime
Wonderful service, great food, strong drinks! We got a tiki bowl and be warned, they are generous with the alcohol our server was great and everything came out quickly. Our new favorite Chinese spot in the city.
We actually ate carry out, but it looks cute. The food is very good. A little more cost than quick carry out places, but well worth it. ( Truly a little only) veggies are not overcooked and quality meats. I highly advise if you want you food less breaded and cooked to death.

CHINESE KITCHEN REVIEWS
One of those hidden gems in New Orleans that has been around for over 30 years. Great food. As of 5/2/2023 Chinese Kitchen is still not doing dine in service. This is a shame, because it has a nice small dining area. This place is no where near as crowded as it use to be. Don't go if you don't like being close to people, because it is a small place.
The food was delicious as usual. Egg rolls they sell are the best. Eating 2 egg rolls alone will fill you up cause they are that large. My only minute gripe was that they don't take phone orders anymore but that wasn't a big deal as the order only took 15 mins from order to order up as it wasn't too busy at the time I went. Chinese Kitchen is a long time favorite for locals and a welcome for any tourist looking to fill their taste for Chinese food.
This is the true Chinese food plug. Best rice, egg rolls and sweet and sour sauce! Any OG New Orleans resident will know this restaurant! Any visitors coming please eat here!! Food is 10/10! Currently they are doing cash only as computers are down and I don’t know how long for. Parking isn’t the greatest in this area but you’ll survive. Dine in: Yes Outdoor seating: No Takeout: Yes Delivery: No Curbside pickup: No

AUGUST MOON REVIEWS
No MSG! I absolutely love their shrimp Lo mein noodles. It works well with my pescatarian lifestyle. I usually ask for extra onions and shrimp. It’s walking distance from Touro and they offer free delivery to the hospital entrance on Prytania if you order at least $12. I’ve also had their steamed crab rolls. You definitely can’t go wrong by eating here.
This is such a great spot! My go to for asian takeout now, they have plenty of seating inside too though. You really can taste the difference, it does taste fresh and delicious. Spring rolls were good, mandarin chicken was nice and tender with a great garlic honey, curry-esque sauce. I was a little skeptical of their pad thai actually being that good, but it is! It's surprisingly awesome! Really nice staff too. I'll be back for sure!
Always good food, especially the crab rangoons and egg drop soup. The waitress is always nice and kind. She never ever gets your order wrong - memory is on a thousand! Love this gem. I come from the Westbank specifically for their cuisine, wish they'd share with them so the food would be better tasting.
