Queso fondu was really good. The carne Asad tacos were great and so was the crawfish enchiladas. I think the enchiladas had a little too much cheese but other than that were great. The tacos were not as hot as we'd have like and the service wasn't the best. We went on a very slow night and our waitress only came one time after our order was placed

We celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary here and thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. The restaurant was actually really quiet as it was a Sunday evening, but the service was great & the food was delicious. My husband and I are huge fans of Chef Aaron from watching him on TV, so we loved being able to try his authentic Mexican style food and drinks. We cannot wait to return.

Very cool place. The food was more than amazing. Everything was seasoned to perfection and quite honestly some of the best food I have ever had. Albondigas tacos and the shrimp were so flavorful. I also have to say the black beans and street corn are "lick your plate clean" good. Great place, hope to be back soon.

Food, service, and staff were all excellent. Sad they did away with the warmed salsa. So much so, I asked our waitress just to heat me up some in the microwave, and she kindly obliged. Our adult beverages were great. Even after requesting something not on their drink menu, the bar staff pulled it off effortlessly. We'll definitely continue to fancy the Velvet Cactus. Maybe one day, they'll turn the pot warmers back on.

i loved the crew/ wait staff, loved the alcoholic beverages, & I loved the scenery .. it was very beautiful. The tacos were okay but the yellow rice was great! Great service.

Absolutely loved this place!!! Great atmosphere, food, smell ((of the food)) & just all around awesome experience.
