Love this place!!! The ambience is incredible- low lighting, soft acoustic music, amazing smells of course from all the spices. The menu was more affordable than I expected it would be- this heavenly beef dish was to diieeee for. Also highly recommend the gyoza & roti bread appetizers (get both the peanut sauce and the spicy one- trust me). Perfect spot to go with a group of friends to share dishes family style. Team was very welcoming and I can’t wait to return here.

Little bit off the normal tourist route but if your in the mood for some Thai food this is the place to be. This was the best Thai I have had for as long as I can remember. We literally had 4 entrees and no leftovers, even got dessert. This place is easily in my top 3 for food in NOLA. Loved it.

The service really stood out and that's saying a lot for new Orleans. Our waitress made sure we got what we needed but her personality made the experience special. To top it off, the food was great. We had the drunken noodles and pineapple curry- both were exceptional. I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area.

Loved the food. Excellent vegan options. I had fried tofu and lotus stem (starter/appetiser) and Jackfruit curry with sticky rice. Both tasted yum super yum. I'd go by Greg's recommendations. He knows what he is talking about. The bartender, too, had excellent choices to recommend in the non-alcoholic drinks department. Overall, I highly recommend this place. My only gripe was seating. My table was next to some dusty pipes. This, despite other tables being unoccupied. But that won't stop me from dining here again next time and recommending it to other tourists who want to try some Thai. Love the place, kind employees, good ambience, what else can you ask for? Just head to Thaihey after a nice walk around French quarters and Jackson Square. Healthy portion alert: Work up an appetite if you want to try at least 2 dishes, which you should.

Very flavorful authentic but with a hint of Louisiana local flavor. Ordered the catfish and pumpkin curry and the Khao Soi noodle with Gulf shrimp. Both dishes were amazing. I ordered mild - but it was more of a medium spice but just under my limit in terms of heat. Loved it! Would definitely recommend if you like authentic Thai.

Freaking fantastic. The best Thai food I’ve ever had. Service was excellent - Jessica and Misty were awesome. They brought us another drink when my girlfriend knocked over her glass and shattered it. Very classy. And big portion sizes!! We only ate vegan and loved everything we ordered: Saints 75 cocktail, Tofu Satay, Pumpkin Curry, and Massaman Jackfruit Curry. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Fantastic selection and amazing Thai culinary delights! The best red curry I've had since Thailand and they do have real Thai spicy so be careful if you ask for it. We got the spring rolls and the red curry and both were incredibly delicious. Come for the food and atmosphere but stay for the true authentic Thai experience.

The pork shoulder was amazing with the papaya salad. The soup was really good, a must have. Definitely elevated experience while keeping true to the flavors you’re use to.

Budsi’s never disappoints. I visit every time I’m in the city. Their regular dishes are always tasty but it’s also worth to try the specials.
