3 Best Home Builders in Madison, WI

When I started researching builders for our custom home, I was drawn to CCHW by the extensive portfolio on their website. We took a lot of ideas for our home from other home designs there. When we went to Waunakee to meet the team, I was impressed by their organization and attention to detail. While we had some specific things we wanted, there were so many decisions to make, so it was nice to have the design team make recommendations for us. Throughout the build process, Bryan, Brea, Nicole, and the rest of the CCHW team exceeded my expectations. It seemed like every day I was getting an email or phone call from someone, whether calling me back to answer a question or confirming one of our selections. I liked using the Buildertrend app/website to know when various contractors were scheduled. Taking the kids to see the progress was a welcome distraction from remote schooling/COVID. It was exhausting at times but it paid off in the end - we moved in 5 months after breaking ground, ahead of the original schedule and several other homes that started before ours did. We enjoyed getting to know everyone at CCHW and it feels like a family reunion at the Parade of Homes each year. Highly recommend.

Classic Custom Homes builds an excellent home. The craftsmanship is second to none. The design process in which the customer and builder collaborate in real time with the CAD designer was a truly unique experience.

We have now been in our house 3 months and couldn't be happier! Bryan made our dreams of building a home to raise our children in a reality! His attention to detail is what sets him a part.

I just finished building a house with Premier Builders and it went great. Premier does great work. The crews they use were very professional, very talented and most importantly there were always multiple crews working on the project. We started the house well after several other houses were started by other builders in the neighborhood and finished well before them. When you build with Premier you will get your house on time and within budget. I also appreciated that Premier is very honest they let you know the price of everything, so you feel comfortable you are paying what it actually costs. When I build again it definitely will be with Kevin and Premier Builders.

Kevin Acker is a wonderful and honest builder! Not only are his homes stunning beyond compare, he treats every homeowner of his builds (original or otherwise) like family. We were second owners of one of his properties and he still tended to an issue we had for a 2 yr old home. When we sold our home a few months ago, he came to check things out and speak with the new home owners to answer questions. He told me that his builds are important to him and he will always maintain relationships with the homes regardless of age or ownership, which he definitely does. If we still lived in WI we would certainly build with him and his team, and I highly recommend you do as well! You don’t find ethical builders like Premier often.

We built a lake house with Premier and had a wonderful experience. When other builders couldn't be bothered to meet with us, Kevin and Clayton met with us a few days after reaching out and we were working with an architect within a week to design our dream home. We had a bit of a time crunch and Kevin helped us the whole way and made sure we got in on time. Barb was our designer and made sure we picked high quality options and color schemes that are timelines. The whole process was a lot of fun and we feel like we got everything we wanted. We're so happy we went with Premier Builders.
