3 Best Preschools in New York City, NY

We love this school and our teacher, Miss Angie. Our daughter is developing new skills every day and the school environment is full of true kindness, care and love. Everyone is committed in this school, the administration staff, the director, the teachers and other parents. Miss Angie is sweet and competent and creates always new activities for the class which we see via pictures and videos with which we are kept daily updated about what is going on in the class. We like how they place attention to different developmental activities involving speaking, reading, math, music, movement, creativity, socializing, sharing and learning about emotions. As parents we are involved in the school activities and this is something we appreciate. We see that our daughter loves the food and the outside terrace/space where they play and experience games during all seasons in complete safety. Our daughter loves going to school and has now many friends in the class.

We had our baby at Goddard School from 8 months onward and we highly recommend the school. He started from the Pacific Infant class and his teachers Ms. Christine and Ms. Shantal were the best teachers for our son. They were full of energy and highly attentive to his needs and great communicators. They always went above and beyond to provided detailed information about our baby's activities and development. I could not say enough good things about both of them. The new director of the school Emily is highly attentive to the children and classroom's needs. He's now advanced to the next class over and his teachers Ms. Victoria and Ms. Molly has taken good care of him in the new class.

The school programs are great. The location has very good features, rare for Manhattan such as classrooms with windows and a private outdoor space. The tuitions are are a little bit higher than the average compared to the other schools in the area but they are worth it.

I can’t say enough amazing things about TLE!!! My family moved to NJ and sadly I couldn’t keep sending my son there to finish out the 4K program. It was a very hard departure, given the welcoming and attentive staff and overall loving environment. We have seen the same beautiful faces over the past two years, and it is evident the staff loves working at TLE. Teachers/caretakers knew my son even if he wasn’t in their classroom every day. He flourished and thrived. He learned so much and made some of his best friends at this school. I never had one concern about his safety or well being and it was a relief knowing he was in great hands every single day. Also, Jessica is the most incredible school director and human being!!! She knows everyone’s faces and names and she genuinely cares about the kids and parents walking through the front door every day. Also big shout out to Renee and Sam! They always reassured me during some really tough drop off mornings. I only have love and gratitude for this wonderful place! Thank you for everything TLE.

We had an amazing experience with The Learning Experience for 3K and 4K. Much of that has to do with the Jessica, the Director. She truly cares about the kids. She runs TLE like an incredibly efficient business with a passion for the children in a nurturing environment. After going to another daycare center with my son, we found TLE incredibly on top of everything and consistent. Jessica is always available and a great communicator. She is always so pleasant and professional. Even after my child started kindergarten, she checked in on him. We loved our time at TLE and highly recommend it. The staff is great, the center is very well kept and the parent communications are plentiful. Hands down the best decision we made was to send our son to TLE for preschool.

This is by far and away the best Pre-K and daycare option in the area. Our daughter attended another daycare and we waited patiently to get off the waitlist at TLE, rejecting other schools with availability because we just had a good feeling and boy were we right! As other reviews have said - it starts with Miss Jessica. She has a real genuine care for the kids and parents and her concern and appreciation for our comfort is palatable. Then, onto the teachers! Both our daughter’s sets of teachers for 3K and 4K were absolutely phenomenal. My daughter received a great education in the right nurturing environment for her age. Also, her grandparents thought for the first year that it was a private school! That’s how much the administrators, teachers and facility impressed them. It’s a very impressive place.
