It was a pleasure to have James visit the house for a buyer inspection. He was very thorough and answered all of my questions along the way as well as after everything was finalized. He made sure to point out areas where he would recommend further specialized inspectors stop by. The report that was produced at the end was very detailed and included many pictures of where to find general items and items to fix. Would recommend to anyone in need of a home inspector.
James wrote a phenomenal inspection report. It was very detailed with clear photos and explanations. It also contained lots of useful information that will be helpful as a new home owner (examples - which external drains is it normal to see water dripping from, which ones should never have water dripping, how frequently to maintain certain aspects of the house, etc.). He gave great guidance on each issue he found, even down to considerations like the type of railing along the stairs encouraging climbing behavior in children, the height at which carbon monoxide detectors are most effective, and how to maintain the perimeter to allow best monitoring for termites. I plan to keep his report as a reference for the future - it is almost like a manual for the house!
James's inspection was incredibly thorough and well worth the cost. He produced a detailed report which we will use to fix the issues in our new home. Will absolutely hire him again.
