Sushi-San

If you're in the River North area of downtown Chicago, this place perfect. Fresh sushi, great service and reasonable pricing make it one of the most visited sushi restaurants in the area. The Uni and Hotate is flown in from Japan and is worth the price. The seaweed salad is very different from other places and has crispy pieces of lotus root that elevate the salad to the next level! Will definitely go back!

I stopped in at sushi San when I was in Chicago for work in October. the food was fresh, service was quick and the Yuzu margarita was well-made. The atmosphere was busy for Halloween night and lively with almost every table taken. I enjoyed sitting at the sushi bar and watching the two chefs prepare box after box of rolls. I’ll definitely go again for dinner or lunch! Definitely worth checking out for sushi and also their hot appetizers.

This place is a great experience AND the sushi is incredible. So fresh and so good. The atmosphere is full of energy and life. Very modern and hip. Perfect to celebrate the traditional sushi place through their awesome sushi and enjoy the experience. The Kanpachi was our top favorite. And they have three grades of tuna from lean to fatty. The Uni is TOP NOTCH! The service was outstanding! This will always be my go-to sushi place in Chicago.
