LE COLONIAL CHICAGO REVIEWS
Upscale Vietnamese fusion cuisine at one of the fanciest streets in Downtown Chicago. The food has a very balanced taste, just the perfect amount of "delicious". This goes for the small plates (appetizers), large plates and desserts. Food is so good in fact, that I completely forgot to take pictures for this review. Completely fabulous experience. Patricia, our waitress, made our experience even more fantastic with her welcoming attitude and deep knowledge of the recipes and pairing wines.
I am a fan of French Vietnamese cuisine. I came in for lunch and loved everything about Le Colonial Chicago. From the area, the lobby entrance taking the elevator to the reception / hostess area. Great service, even better food, and a nice ambiance with an affluent clientele. Posted are the pictures of what we ordered.
I did last minute booking at this restaurant, but had great experience. Food portion overall was on the smaller side, but it sure was tasty. I really enjoyed pho and wide noodles! Atmosphere was really pretty and nice. Servers and all workers were super friendly too. Would definitely go back sometime soon.

TANK NOODLE REVIEWS
Spent 2 weeks in Vietnam and Now I can't get the food off my mind. This place has been authentic and lauded by locals for a while now and it doesn't surprise me that they pay close attention to the needs of their customers. Gigantic menu, vegetarian options, noodles, rice, sandwiches, Huge bowls of Pho and Bunh, all the fixings at your table, staff is brusque but friendly and they're interested in getting your order right the first time. Very filling, the entrées are designed to be large and satisfying, so come hungry. They allow customization on the orders, even got me some extra sausage for my noodles, Cold dishes are popular in the summer and hot dishes reign supreme in the winter. Obviously the prices aren't what they are like in HCMC, but the quality is there. Highly recommend if you're craving variety and flavor. ???? Vegetarian options: Tons of them Dietary restrictions: You can customize your entree up to a certain point. Parking: Argyle street is very narrow. Might be better just to take the red line. Kid-friendliness: This place is loud with kids on a Saturday and Sunday. Wheelchair accessibility: Entrance is often crowded but should be accessible for a wheelchair.
My family and I came here for lunch after doing our grocery shopping. We wanted a traditional Vietnamese family meal. The caramelized cat fish and hot and sour soup was amazing.
Although I wish I would have tried the Pho, which they are known for, the fried rice was delicious. Friendly staff and great customer service.

SAIGON SISTERS REVIEWS
Second time at this restaurant. The first time was for my birthday and this time we came to try the restaurant week menu for my husband’s birthday. The food is really good here the owner is so friendly and the drinks are really good. We loved the banana cake dessert! Like we would literally just stop by just to grab one on the way home. we ordered the octopus and squid ink rice, pork fried eggroll, sugar cane pork appetizer, the branzino, the coconut flan, the brown sugar banana cake and then had then pack my beef shank pho to go because i was so full. Everything was delicious will definitely come back again.
When we walked in we were surprised to see a hip eclectic vision of a south eastern Asian restaurant. The music was house music and also switched to french music as well. The food was very delicious, the fresh spring rolls with pork belly were incredible and I don't say that often about food. We also ordered the Spicy Noodles with chicken and my husband ordered the Vermicelli Salad with Chicken and no shrimp. One of the owners is the host and one of the servers as well. He was very accommodating with my several food allergies. This place is awesome and the service is top of the line.
The pho was excellent. Meat melted in your mouth. The service was maybe the best I’ve ever had. Water was filled. Napkins were replaced. My friend dropped his coat and a staff member picked it up before he could even react. Very attentive and quick. Would suggest.
