MON AMI GABI REVIEWS
Easily one of the best steaks I've had in Chicago. The side of macaroni and cheese I would also recommend. Great wine selection and suggestions as well. This place gets pretty busy on a Friday night, so make your reservations in advance. Our server had multiple tables ordering at the same time, so there was a bit of a wait between getting the menus and ordering. My only non-recommendation would be the fries that come with the steak. They're small and greasy.
Mon Ami Gabi is truly the French charming restaurant from all aspects : food quality, service, atmosphere and interior decor. All factors create the awesome dining experience. We had seafood platter, house salad with avocado, trout almondine, mussels ( French bread is perfectly made) and apple tart. Thank you Chef, Mark ( amazing server) and all the team. Everyone is friendly and attentive.
What a delightful experience! We had lunch. The baguette was crunchy, and warm and perfectly accented by the butter and jam. The French onion soup is the best I’ve ever had. The service is top-notch.

BISTRO CAMPAGNE REVIEWS
What a cute restaurant. The food is fantastic. We had the salmon, chicken and a casserole with duck. Apps included belly, tartar tartar and soup. All good. All staff we encountered were pleasant and greeted us with smile. Our server was amazing. He was attentive and friendly. My daughter gave him a good tip in help celebrating her mother birthday. Parking: Parking across the street.
Had dinner here for a date night during Chicago restaurant week. Everything was spectacular. We had the French onion soup, mussels, poulet roti forestiere, steak frites, crème brûlée, and pain perdu. Everything was done perfectly and service was also amazing. We’ll be back after restaurant week for sure.
Some of the best meals I've had in Chicago. Every single dish was amazing and well worth the price. I will definitely be returning. Also their baguette app is a must to start the meal.

LE BOUCHON REVIEWS
My partner and I checked this place out after countless times of me rejecting it as I've been so hesitant to try their dishes. I should've been here long ago cause WOW! I regret putting it off because literally everything here was spectacular. We ordered waaaaay too much food, but oh so worth it. We ordered two rounds of oysters, frog legs, oxtail, corn creme brulee, and two drinks recommended by our waiter; which were fantastic! We really enjoyed the experience and our waiter was very communicative and friendly. He informed us on a type of liquor used in one of the cocktails and we tried a sip since it's very strong in menthol/mint. I highly recommend those frog legs! Probably my favorite dish there (along with the oysters since they taste great as is). Overall, we definitely will be back. I think we found "our" new spot. ?? Keep in mind, however, that this is a very small space. So I'd suggest making a reservation. We were lucky as walk-ins on a very busy evening.
Exceptional French cuisine in a charming and intimate setting. We've dined here for lunch twice, and each visit has been a delight. The house bread is wonderfully fragrant and fresh. On our most recent visit, we tried the special mushroom consommé that was incredibly rich and hearty. The Fjord Trout en Croûte (Trout in puff pastry) was a standout, with a rich and creamy dressing that perfectly complemented the trout's amazing texture. The Confit Carrots, while lighter, were packed with exciting spices and flavors. Without a doubt, Le Bouchon offers one of the finest French dining experiences in Chicago.
The best French Onion Soup I’ve had. Also enjoyed the Truite Des Fjords en Croûte (Ocean Trout Wrapped in Puff Pastry.) Overall, a perfect cozy atmosphere to spend a cold winter evening.
