NATIVE FOODS REVIEWS
I loved my experience at this restaurant. The young man here was very helpful and friendly. He explained many of the menu items to me since I had never been to a restaurant like this. He also chatted a little bit with me while he rang me out. That made me feel like a person and not a number. I wish that I had his name because he deserves credit for being so awesome. The food was superb! The cookie and the brownie was all of that! You got to have them. And my cheeseburger was great. I also tried a meat ball sub, which was also great! It was so great to see a place like this downtown. I love to eat downtown but there's not many options for vegan diets.
We really liked this place! Yes it's a bit pricey for fast food, but given we'd paid $30 for a couple of impossible whoppers a few days earlier it seemed pretty reasonable for a city centre location! I found the range of options pretty good and as it was only a few minutes from our hotel we went here a couple of times and really enjoyed everything we got. I'd definitely recommend it.
Amazing. This was a great experience. I kept looking at my double cheeseburger wondering g how it was vegan! Plus after scarving it down I felt full, but not bloated. I will be back.

THE CHICAGO DINER REVIEWS
The best vegetarian restaurant in Chicago. I fondly remember Saturday morning breakfast- cross your fingers there's seating available- and the eggs Benedict. I still have to master a from scratch Hollandaise- margarine is not good for you however. Dagwood Sandwich was ace as well as the vegan smores sundae. A gourmand's deligt.
It’s a classic, famous vegan restaurant, and I think it lives up to the hype. Small but adorable, the food was delicious (definitely not mega-healthy plant based, but so so tasty), and a landmark vegan restaurant that’s accessible in a way most others aren’t because it’s affordable! They’re kind of known for their vegan milkshakes, and they are fantastic. It’s definitely a restaurant you have to visit in Chicago, worthy of a stop on any vegan’s or non-vegan’s food tour of the city or the county, and community at this location is so fun and cool.
So dang delicious. I've almost worked my way through the whole menu. Service was outstanding sweetest waiter. Fun atmosphere seems everyone is happy. Staff seems to have fun. Will definitely be back. Keep up the good work.

ALICE & FRIENDS' VEGAN KITCHEN REVIEWS
Amazing staff! Had a great experience. I'm not vegan, but they were more than happy to explain any questions I had about the menu. They do have a lot of Asian dishes, and then more American food like vegan burgers as well. Really enjoyed dining here.
Best vegan place in Chicago by far, the food is so good, I'm so happy I found them. You have to be very clear with what you want or they will forget, but other than that it's great.
I am not a vegan, and I never will be. But, I was very impressed with my visit to Alice's. The staff is friendly, the restaurant is bright and welcoming, and the food had a surprising amount of flavor. If you are like me and naturally skeptical of vegan restaurants, don't be afraid. If you are a vegan, you just found a great restaurant to satisfy your needs.
