Ramen-San is a neighborhood noodle joint that slings hot broth, ice-cold beer, and the best 90s hip-hop in town. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor dining facilities. Ramen-San is open for lunch and dinner seven days a week. Ramen-San is a rustic ramen joint for noodle soups, buns & chicken wings, cocktails, sake, & lots of whiskeys. The staff is extremely friendly, and when they add great music, it creates a great atmosphere. They always have options for vegetarians, which is a huge plus. Ramen-San is an excellent place for a meeting, lunch with family, or warming up with a hot soup. Ramen-San is located a few blocks from the river, and this location is kitschy and easy to get to. Their Lunch Specials come with four rice dishes, three ramen, a side salad, and an appetizer. Wash it down with an Asahi beer and complete your meal with Spicy Ramen. Ramen-San is one of the best spots for family gatherings for lunch and dinner. They have three other branches in Chicago, IL.

RAMEN-SAN REVIEWS
This is one of my favourite ramen places in Chicago. The entire experience from placing an order to the end is very cool. You can always custom make your ramen and just need to tick mark preferences on their menu. Service and prices are also decent. I loved their veg options.
I work nearby and frequently come here for pick up. I love the food and how they write smiles faces on my receipts it leave a nice little touch. Also the sweet lady [didn't get her name ;(] that handed me my food today have such a beautiful soul and excellent customer service. Shout out to her, she made my day! She's deserve a big raise!!
90s hip-hop, fun atmosphere, delicious food and good drinks... What more can you ask for? The roasted edamame was so simple yet so delightful. The pork belly buns were juicy and the perfect compliment to the ramen.

MOMOTARO REVIEWS
Atmosphere and service make the experience great and memorable. Very attentive and professional server and a nice space. The fish is very fresh tasting but the rolls were a bit too simple for me and the nigiri had too much going on. Dietary restrictions: Not the most extensive gluten free menu but definitely good options. Small vegan menu.
Only been here twice and I think I need to come back more often. Everything about this place is impeccable. Great for groups to get a bunch of things and share. I can’t remember the names of dishes we ordered, but you cannot go wrong with the Izakaya options (the lamb is a must) and the sushi (could pass on the rolls, but the sashimi or sushi bites are delicious).
Great interior design, good service, incredible food. Everything tastes fresh, well balanced, and impactful. It's always nice to sit at or near the sushi bar.

While other restaurants may serve ramen along with several other entrees, Strings Ramen focuses specifically on ramen. STRINGS RAMEN SHOP REVIEWS
This place is phenomenal. It is easily my favorite ramen shop in all of Chicago and it's heavily carried by the broth. We tried their Hell Ramen, the Kuro Buta, and the Shio Ramen with turkey and all of them had phenomenal broths. Not too salty, not undersalty, just right. The noodles were amazingly satisfying to eat and the meats were very tender. Would be coming back here - the service was friendly and fast and the atmosphere is a little cramped but it is cozy.
I find this place one freezing night and it was like a coke in the dessert. Since that day always when I want some delicious I go and I invite my friends to try this delicious food. Don’t forget to ask for tiramisu is the best dessert.
This has got to be one of the best bowls of ramen i’ve had. i had the premium tonkotsu, and it was chock full of ingredients. the portions were generous, and the food was so good i emptied the bowl. we were sat quickly despite there being a line, and service was quick and efficient!
