The practice is proud to have two trauma-trained therapists, an addiction specialist, an LGBTQ expert, as well as an OCD specialist. DC Talk Therapy also runs an ongoing, in-person weekly therapy group for those with anxiety. Most of their therapists use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, in addition to mindfulness, DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy) and psychodynamic psychotherapy. TOP 3 THE VIVA CENTER REVIEWS
I don't know where to even start raving about Julie Lopez and her group of clinicians at the Viva Center. Let me begin by saying that I've known Julie and Viva for over 15 years, and being a Washington D.C. psychotherapist myself, I have referred many people to VIVA over the years. Why? Because of the rigor of their passion to serve, the integrity of their internal procedures -- which include continuous study and study groups within the organization itself -- and their commitment to thinking out of the box and staying on the cutting edge of psychological evolution. Julie Lopez has created VIVA as an embodiment of her beliefs in post traumatic growth. At Viva, via its diverse and multi-experienced clinicians, you will find a one-stop shop of well being and healing in most psychotherapeutic modalities. Furthermore, the Viva Center also provides online workshops, classes, and copious information for folks who are either not yet ready to start psychotherapy or who can't currently pay for it. Julie Lopez, and the VIVA Center are mission-driven in contributing to a more healed humanity. The Viva Center remains my go-to referral source, especially since Julie and her clinicians truly walk their talk. Thank you for this service! - C.
The Viva Center is highly professional, caring and responsive. I trust them with referrals and know them to be one of the leaders in mental health and counseling in Washington, DC. Highly recommended! - K.
I have come to respect the Viva Center and their efforts to provide meaningful meetings for community professionals. There is a good energy there and I've been impressed with the professionals I've met, Lenna and Alina. A recent training by Julie Lopez was also very well organized and meaningful. I highly recommend The Viva Center.

TOP 3 CAPITAL CENTER FOR PSYCHOTHERAPY AND WELLNESS REVIEWS
Had a great Monday evening here! The Malbec (2015 Le Croizillon) was good for the price per pour ($13). The Crispy Chicken Sandwich was a steal given the other prices on the menu ($7 for double stacked pounded, breaded, and fried chicken). Be sure to ask for the bar popcorn, it comes spiced. Abby was my bartender and she was great with both knowing the wines and keeping a good conversation. I look forward to coming back and getting a drink or 2 from Abby!
Paul Robison does AMAZING work. His body work is top-notch, but he also takes the time to really understand the context of your physical issues and makes sure to work on the root cause, without judgement. Have and will continue to recommend him to everyone, even though it makes it harder for me to get an appointment with him.
