I chose Fortner Upholstering to cover two high back barrel chairs from my father's estate. Since he was a superb upholsterer himself, I wanted to be sure the work was done expertly and professionally. I supplied photos of the chairs before I stripped the fabric and refinished the woodwork. So basically, Fortner was receiving "wooden frames". I was literally shocked when they delivered them just 2 short weeks after picking up. They are stunning!! And absolutely perfect in every way. the seams and double welting were crisp and straight. They look very high end and that's because of their craftsmanship. I highly recommend Fortner if you want an expert finish.

I hired Fortner to reupholster my grandfather's beloved leather lounge chair. To say Fortner did a spectacular job is a gross understatement. I am truly amazed at the quality. They essentially rebuilt the chair from the ground up. The upholstery is amazing. The chair is comfortable. Service was great. I am extremely happy. Was worth every penny.

OLD TOWN UPHOLSTERY REVIEWS

Matt and the Old Town Upholstery team's craftsmanship is exceptional. I searched three years for a company I could trust to reupholster my chairs. Once I met the team, my search was over. Old Town Upholstery transformed two casual, plain chairs into something elegant yet comfortable. I love the custom detail on the back of the chairs. My worn recliner seat cushions were also reupholstered in this project. Next up, two plain ottomans in my foyer.

Matt did an amazing job recovering cushions for our mid century modern wooden bench. We couldn’t be happier with his communication throughout the process and the quality of the work. I would not hesitate to bring any piece to his shop.

Thank you Matt and company for rebuilding and reupholstering our 6 dining room chairs. We are so glad we found you; the chairs look wonderful and we look forward to family dinners in comfortable chairs.
