Yes, long review but I thought I'd share our experience. We built a custom home with Zac Evans Construction. The entire process proved flawless. Meetings with Zach and Luke on the design were relaxed and fun--ones we always looked forward to. The whole team exemplified what you want in home building: extraordinary design, easy communication throughout the build, HERS rated building techniques (for energy efficiency) and stunning finish details. The subcontractors have worked with Zach for years and that experience counts. We arrived nearly every evening to check out the day's progress. The work area was always clean and swept, no piles of unsightly debris like some other builders. Matt Sisco, the job supervisor, is one of a kind. He not only made it fun but communicated honestly and succinctly. Zach told us our move in date weeks before and we moved in on that exact day. We felt like Zach's only clients. And don't underestimate the importance of every team member. They work together to make the process smooth with no surprises. Even Carolyn, the office manager delighted to hear my voice when I called. The ZEC team did everything (and beyond) they promised.Your home purchase may be your most important financial decision of your life. Zach's 30 years experience speaks for itself. Don't leave it to others who may promise but NOT deliver.

Zach Evans Construction is amazing. We are two years into our custom build and we couldn't be happier. Our interior designer, Julie, was amazing to work with and beyond patient with us during the selection period. The project estimator, Ben, was great as we added and subtracted options creating MANY revisions. Our project manager, Matt, was beyond compare. His attention to detail was/is first class. More than once, Matt suggested something to change (not upselling) that just made sense in a practical way. We have been blessed by ZEC. They have always treated us with kindness and respect. I will be using ZEC again and would recommend them to anyone.

The quality and service you get from ZEC is unmatched in the treasure valley. ZEC designs beautiful and functional living spaces. We absolutely love our ZEC home!
