We recently started the process of completely redoing our backyard and got in touch with Matt after finding him here. We have a narrow long backyard and were looking for the most efficient space utilization while also making sure the space didn't look busy. Matt had some great ideas which he turned into an initial draft design within a few days of us meeting him. It featured a pergola, fire pit, artificial turf and landscaping and it all came together really nicely. There was a ton of thought put into the placement of the pergola such that it seemed almost a natural extension of our family room, leading out into the backyard. We discussed some tweaks and it was past 7:30 that night when Matt left, but he turned around an update design that very night! As others have noted, Matt is super responsive and that helped move things along really fast. He's also had great advice for us on materials and the relative costs, where we should focus on spending our budget. We liked working with Matt so much that we added the frontyard to the project as well and are working with Matt on finalizing a design for our front. We're very close to starting construction on the project and can't wait for the space to be ready for us to enjoy our brand new backyard and frontyard!
