This is an excellent Electrical company and I’m glad I got to know them. Boz (the owner) shows you right away that he knows his stuff and he’ll steer you in the right direction. I accepted their proposal to upgrade my panel and run 3 new lines to the oven (for an induction oven), dryer and garage (for EV charger). His workers Kaplan and Jerardo showed up on time and were courteous and very respectful of the spaces. Like their boss, they show right away they know their stuff and you can tell they’re hard workers. They labeled my new panel and explained how the new grounding is going to protect my appliances. Very glad to have used them to electrify my condo!

Juan and Geda did an amazing job installing the Tesla charger for us. They showed up on time and covered the floors before work starts. Very professional during the whole installation! They were willing to make some adjustments to fit the cover box on the wall. Overall, Super neat work and cleaned up everything afterwards. Highly recommended ! On top of that, Boz gave us a free quote before the actual work, and the quote is very reasonable, no hidden charges like some companies out there.

Johan is very professional. Even after the project was complete, he returned to fix a recessed LED light that lost its spring. Johan's team ascertained all permits are acquired when the situation necessitates.

I decided to steam some clothes on a Sunday evening- fast forward the breaker shorted and we lost electricity to all 3 bedrooms. I called 4 different electricians, and Sims & Sons were the only ones to call back, and immediately! They came that day, fixed the issue SO quickly, and identified the major electrical issues affecting our condo. A few weeks later they came back, spent about 9 hours rewiring things (4 workers too!) and I can tell you they did a fantastic job. Darrell is so friendly, knowledgeable, and just a great honest guy. Dylan and the rest of the team were amazing too, they even worked around my daughter's nap schedule. In addition, they fixed some minor things they came across that had been poorly done by other workers in the past. Darrell gave us recommendations for a few other projects too. Highly highly recommend. I don't want any more electrical issues, but Darrell and his team will be our go-to should we need anything!

My 1880s Chicago condo is not easy to deal with. From start to finish, Sims & Sons was one of the most professional, personable, and experienced contractors I’ve worked with. Relocated a panel to be code compliant and I feel much better about the safety of our unit. Could not recommend enough.
