Highly recommend Chicagoland Home Inspectors! From the outset, they were responsive, organized and communicative about scheduling. They were transparent about pricing options and gave straightforward advice about what services we may need and which we did not. Glen-Carl (and assistant Alex) were both wonderful, and gave thorough explanations as we walked through the whole property together. I felt like I had a solid picture of what was happening in the home. Then they take it one step further: once you receive the inspection (which is highly detailed and COLOR CODED!), you schedule a 90 minute zoom with the owner to go over the whole report and get further recommendations. He even offers to review estimates from contractors. All in all, incredible value and will wholeheartedly recommend this company to anyone who needs this service.
My wife and I had a great experience with Chicagoland Home Inspectors! John was our inspector and he was very communicative the whole time, showed you what he was looking at, and gave good advice on general home upkeep the whole time. In the home buying process, most parties are always trying to push you through to closing, but these guys genuinely care about teaching you what you’re buying and what condition you’re buying it in.
Even after the inspection, we were given an option to hop on a zoom call with Charlie (the owner of the company), and he’d go through the inspection line-by-line with you to explain the issue and his view on the solution.

I will be recommending this company to all of my friends and family looking to buy a home in the future! Vince and his partner (Alex) arrived on time and went straight to work. They explained everything that they were doing thoroughly throughout the entire process. As a first time home buyer, I had many many questions, but they were patient and made sure I understood what they were looking at. I took them up on the offer to speak with Charlie (the owner) to go over all of their findings and I am so so glad I did. Charlie spent over 1.5 hours going over everything with me and addressing any concerns I may have (and offering solutions). This is a company that truly cares and I cannot recommend them enough!

All of the email and online portal communication was clear, direct, and very informative, which made the entire process stress-free. Our inspector, Tim, was fantastic. He was flexible with his schedule when we had a last minute issue, communicated promptly and kindly, arrived right on time, and treated everyone with respect. Tim and Charles are great! The website is very transparent regarding pricing, sample inspection, online scheduling, and optional add-ons. Tim came with his colleague on-time and talked us through the entire inspection, teaching us things along the way. They were professional, courteous, and thorough during the entire inspection as evidenced by their report. The additional mold, radon, and chimney add-ons proved useful in identifying potential issues. Charles also went through the report with us personally and addressed our primary concerns, as well as helping us with ball-parking repair costs with various options that I'd call light, medium, and heavy repair routes. The information was very valuable in our decision process. The AI notes from Zoom also was great for future reference .He also opened up his network of contractors to us, suggesting contact info.
