OCEANA GRILL REVIEWS

Definitely worth a visit. Red Beans and Rice are my go-to here. Served with Cajun sausage. Taste of New Orleans is also a good option, giving you a sampler of three local favorites. Staff are always 5-star and the atmosphere varies depending on what time of the day you visit (quieter mid-way, mid-week and louder on the weekend).

This is a very popular spot. With that being said, we did not have a long wait time. The alligator bites and oysters were delicious. Highly recommend at least one meal here. The service was amazing and so was our meal. Let's not forget the drinks.

The waiter name Johnathan was really cool. He was very well-spoken. He really took care of us. Our food was great also.

Acme Oyster House on Iberville is a solid spot for classic New Orleans seafood. Had a dozen raw oysters, which were salty and fresh…very tasty! Went down well with a couple of cold beers.Also had a shrimp poboy with a cup of chicken & sausage gumbo, and a oyster/shrimp poboy combo. They did not disappoint. It’s a busy place, but the hostess keeps things moving, and if you don’t want to wait, the bar is always a good option (that’s what we did). Service was friendly and on point. Definitely worth a stop.

I came here 10 years ago and have been dreaming of the char grilled oysters since then. Now my son is a fan as well. Also got the seafood gumbo and a shrimp / oyster platter. Was all delicious. For dessert the pecan cobbler - highly recommended.

There was a small line out front. Everyone that was leaving told us it was worth the wait. They were right. It's as good as it gets. The etouffee and fried crab claws were the table favorites.

Ate a delicious meal with friends Sat evening, April 2025. Our waiter was attentive and knew the menu like the back of his hand! The crispy snapper breast was amazing. Best red snapper I had in the city. My friends had the scalibut and the American Red Snapper dish, they both highly recommended! For appetizers we had crispy pork belly, fried oysters and lobster dumplings, all delicious! Make your reservations and come try this place out.

I’m convinced this is the best restaurant in New Orleans. I make it a point to visit every time I’m in town. Another stellar dinner and dining experience at GW Fins tonight! Had the grouper today which was cooked to perfection. The fried oysters, tempura fin wings, and lobster bisque were also on point. And of course had to get the salty malty for dessert! The bread pudding is also a winner. Highly recommend this place to anyone visiting NOLA and strongly recommend making reservations in advance because they get packed up quickly.

The BEST restaurant that we went to for dinner in New Orleans. I literally want to go back to NOLA just to go here again as the menu can change daily depending on the fish or catch of the day. Make reservations as they get full. The free biscuit with butter is amazing but be careful because you can fill up on these before your meal comes! We had lobster dumplings, wedge lettuce which was different than all other places because they give you three different types which were all amazing, steak, fish, cake and cocktails. ALL amazing! Great service, very attentive and very nice atmosphere. I can’t wait to go again.
