Anthony is very professional and personable. I promptly got a quote from him and it was much more affordable than others, and included on-site repair rather than me having to transport my couch to a store. He came to my home to fix a small tear in my leather couch. He put on booties over his shoes (though my old carpet didn't warrant this) and spent 2 hours working on the couch. He explained that the repair might not be perfect due to the age of the couch (about 15 years) but the patching was great, and the color matching good. I am more than satisfied with the end result and would recommend him highly.

Anthony repaired a hole in my couch that my dog tore - I wasn’t looking for a full on restoration, just a hole patch/ repair. Anthony was exactly the right person for the task! The problem: Six wobbly mid-century modern chairs in genteel disrepair, with worn mismatched fabric and not much cushion after 35 years. The solution: Rose City Upholstery and their excellent crafts people. If you are frugal, not cheap [I am not so rich that I can afford to buy cheap things] then look no further. Great value for a completely reasonable price. Workmanship was excellent, communication was excellent, and I am beyond delighted with the result. Now I have six solid chairs in beautiful fabric, comfy to sit in at last, solidly re-assembled. Even the chairs that didn't seem wobbly are somehow more solidly assembled. I am not a perfectionist, but I do have genuinely high standards and Rose City not only met them, they exceeded them. My only regret is that I don't have more furniture for them to work their magic on, I think they can do anything. If you are getting estimates make sure one of them is from Rose City, you won't regret it. I bet you choose them and will be delighted, just as I am. The best!

We had two channel back chairs rebuilt.. They fixed the chairs, they re stuffed them and they upholstered them in a paisley fabric that was not an easy pattern to use on a channel back. They are perfect. It took some time to get it done, mostly to get the fabric. She was very patient with us through the fabric selection and very helpful. If you want quality work use Rose City Upholstery.
