Lincoln Memorial has been a sacred place for my family. Over the years, we’ve laid to rest my grandmother, my father, and I’ve personally attended over 75 services there—most from our Romanian community. Through it all, one constant blessing has been Cristina Nedea and her wonderful assistant. Cristina has truly been heaven-sent. Not only does she share our Romanian heritage, but she carries a rare kind of compassion, patience, and gentle strength that brings peace in the middle of heartbreak. Losing my grandma was hard. Losing my dad was even harder. But losing my 24-year-old son to a tragic overdose shattered us. Amidst the chaos of grief, differing family opinions, and overwhelming emotions, Cristina stood with us—steadfast, loving, and professional. She helped us navigate every step, offered support with pricing, and made what felt unbearable somehow manageable. Honestly, I’m tearing up as I write this, thinking of how much she’s meant to our family. While it’s heartbreaking that we always seem to meet under such painful circumstances, I can’t imagine going through these moments without her. She’s made every goodbye a meaningful and beautiful tribute.

I want to thank the staff at Lincoln for their compassion during this difficult time. From our initial phone call and throughout the arrangement process, their attention to details, outstanding follow up calls are second to none. Crystal kept me informed and updated throughout the process. I can’t thank her enough for all her help. From the start I knew my brother was in good hands and being cared for. The presentation of the urn (pictured) when Sandy arrived to pick up Tom brought tears to her eyes. It was so dignified and respectful. A memory she will never forget. I highly recommend Lincoln to take care of your loved one and your family when the need arises.

We would like to thank the people at Lincoln Memorial who did a wonderful job helping us place our family members urn in a niche with his wife. We didn't have anything formal planned and they made it a very relaxed and personal experience. We had a small group of family and friends and ended up talking telling stories laughing and crying.
