We love this place. When I first called, I explained to Amy that Carly, our 10-1/2 CH Smooth Collie, has some osteoarthritis in her back and a previous rear paw injury from playing at the dog park. She attentively listened to our concerns. Now, we take Carly here every 3-4 weeks to get her nails dremeled and we are very pleased with the results. This week we were invited to close friends’ for Thanksgiving Day. Our tub needs a plumber and we can’t fit a Collie into the shower. Well, I was sure Hair of the Dog was probably booked solid for the holidays. However Amy found a slot to fit Carly in for a bath, blow dry, nails and ears. She looked perfect in 1-1/2 hours, slept the way home, and is ready to travel with us on Thursday. It is wonderful to find a trustworthy groomer with whom to trust with your beloved pet.

I have a long haired cat and I was interested in getting my cat groomed like a lion. I called roughly 8-10 grooming companies around Santa Rosa and nearly none of them answered. When I called they answered immediately and gave me a price right over the phone. Their next opening was a week out and I decided to book the appointment. Not knowing what to expect I brought my cat in and they did an amazing job. So good I felt like I had to leave a review. I was greeting by two very nice ladies who took my cat and called me back 2 hrs later that my cat was all finished. I was so happy with the end result I’ll definitely be bringing my cat back and I would highly recommend this place to anyone who needs their dog/cat groomed. I didn’t catch her name but there is a blonde lady there and she did an incredible job taking care of my cat and making him look like a lion. I highly recommend this place if you need your animal groomed. 5 stars!!!

Nice experience here. $20 to trim my chihuahua's nails. We were in and out in less than 10 mins. Very efficient!

I had a fantastic experience at Chez Jeanne. As a dog owner who’s struggled with trimming my two-year-old Chipit’s nails, I was quite nervous walking in. She’s always been intolerant of nail trims, which has made the process stressful for both of us. I decided to give Chez Jeanne a try after hearing glowing recommendations from fellow dog owners at our local dog park. From the moment we walked in, I was pleasantly surprised. My dog was in and out in less than 5 minutes, and the best part was that she came out completely unfazed by the experience—nails perfectly trimmed and all smiles. It was truly a relief to find a groomer who could make what’s usually a challenging ordeal into a smooth and stress-free process. We will definitely be returning to Chez Jeanne for future grooming needs. Highly recommended!

oh the young man that runs the shop is awesome. He’s so good with the animals. My cats kinda like doesn’t like people and she just loves him and had no problem with him doing whatever he wanted to her and you love this place in that young man is just an awesome person.

The only place I will take my cats. My long haired girl hates being brushed, and forget about nail trims! Mercury trims her nails, bathes her, and gives her semi-annual lion cuts with ease. He must have some kitty magic! Highly recommend.

We just love Bernadette in the Grooming area. She is so thoughtful and so good with our 2 dogs. She always goes above and beyond to help them. She is such a Great person... Joyce & Dave Sunderman.

I need to rave about Alexis. She just groomed my senior dog who is going deaf and blind. For some reason I couldn't find a groomer and the one I was going to took 4 hours to groom him. Alexis not only groomed him with no issues, she did it in a hour and it was 10$ cheaper. I swear she some kind of a grooming whisperer. Thank you Alexis, see you soon!!

Excellent grooming. I have a difficult dog, and Chloé managed him perfectly. He's so handsome and soft now.
