My Dad had been in Arbol’s Skilled Nursing facility for nearly three years. His stay included the most difficult days of the pandemic, where Arbol staff did an incredible job at preventing the spread of the virus with various protocols. My dad had excellent care, and it was very apparent that the staff went above and beyond countless times to make sure he was comfortable - from visiting with him, to putting football games on his TV (which he loved to watch). Thank you, Arbol staff, for all that you did for my Dad. My mom and I feel blessed that you were all in his life, and in ours.
I helped my brother move into Arbol on very short notice. I was and continue to be impressed with how attentive, professional, and kind all the staff are. It is not an easy transition to make, but the staff has worked hard to learn what my brother needs and to make him feel at home. I am very satisfied that we made the right choice in choosing Arbol Residences of Santa Rosa.
Both of my parents started their Arbol Living at Skilled Nursing. Mom transferred to Memory Cate and Dad transferred to Assisted Living. The care in all three departments is commendable and the transfer from department to department was easy. All staff were friendly and knowledgeable. What I appreciated the most was being able to talk with a REAL person at any time. Skilled Nursing has their own entry and staff. Memory Care and Assisted Living have their own entry and staffs. All the different care needs are met in one location.

BROOKDALE CHANATE REVIEWS
We were able to get into Brookdale Chanate. We were able to go in and see a room and meet somebody at that facility. The room was nice and the tour was nice. The facility looked beautiful. The room was larger than what we ended up getting for my mom, but financially she couldn't afford to have a 1-bedroom and a living room. We needed to move her into something more economical. We saw the dining room area. At the time we visited, they were just getting ready to open up their dining room again. The facility looked very homey. There were lots of dark woods. What we saw there was a very nice older facility. It looked like a really nice facility and everybody was very accommodating and very nice. The staff was very kind and very helpful. The library was beautiful. They had an outdoor area where once things open up, apparently families could use those for barbecue. It looked nice.
Brookdale Chanate is beyond fabulous, and we just really lucked out that they've been so sensitive and considerate, and they bent over backwards to help us with every minor detail that we needed help with. The facility is extremely clean, windows are everywhere, and it's open and spacious. My dad is in a small, furnished apartment. They're updated and modern, and they have everything like church services, jewelery making, gardening, lectures from a local college professor, movie nights, and Happy Hour. They're very encouraging of family members to feel comfortable there, and at the same time for those families who live far away from their loved ones, they make sure that their attendants are very attentive to the residents.
Brookdale Chanate is my mom's favorite. They have a very pleasant sitting area with rocking chairs, a secluded garden, an upscale dining area, and they have patios and balconies where you can do individual gardening. They have activities, transportation to medical visits and shopping places.

OAKMONT GARDENS REVIEWS
The truth is if you're thinking about retiring anytime soon you might want to consider moving on over to Oakmont Gardens because it's halfway between Sonoma and Santa Rosa so you're near the wine but you're also need a lot of Kindred Spirits because Oakmont Gardens is full of retirees and they set the place up to help retirees take care of business in their Sunset years. There is a bank and a market and beauty salon and all sorts of things there.
Oakmont Gardens was where I would prefer to go. It had everything that I would want. I was impressed with the lady who took us around to look at things and the apartment, too. Pretty much everything I felt suited my needs. I was impressed.
The facility was beginning a remodeling project but even so, we thought the upgrades we did experience were well done. We felt that the atmosphere of the whole place was a welcoming one and the staff we did meet were also professional and friendly. We could see ourselves living there when the time comes.
