Recently bought a new home with my family. It’s nearly 100 years old and needs lots of TLC. One of the first things we wanted to do post purchase was make some repairs to the roof and fix up the home’s wonky gutter system. I always do my homework, so I got a bunch of quotes for the work from reputable local businesses. Charlie was one. The other roofers heard slate and saw dollar signs. Without even bothering to examine my roof, they tried to sell me on full replacement. It doesn’t need one. Charlie was honest, professional and straightforward. I sensed sincerity. So I went with Charlie and I have no regrets. This is the way you earn repeat clients. Textbook case. Highly recommend.

CJ Roofing replaced my mansard front roof with architectural asphalt shingles on a rowhouse in NW Washington DC. They responded quickly and finished the work in a few hours. Very happy with the result. The owner Charlie was very helpful through the whole process. Highly recommend!

I read on their website that they are one of the top roofing companies in DC, I usually discount such statements but they backed it up with their work ethic and ease of doing business with them. Charlie was great and got my leak stopped that other contractors had failed to stop, so I agree that CJ Roofing is the best roofer in Washington DC. If you need roofing services call this company!

I would highly recommend G & G Home Improvements. The owners of this company are truthful, courteous, and reliable. Most importantly, they took the time to inform us of the options we have to get the best quality roof possible. We have used them twice before and compared to other companies they were the most honest in separating what absolutely needed to be done to repair the roof from unnecessary costs. In the aftermath of Huricane Irene and the subsequent tropical storm many roofers wouldn't even give callbacks. The Martin's of G&G were out to give me an estimate on my damage the following day. This time we used G & G Home Improvements for a full tear off and replacement.

George called me back the same day. Arranged to come to my home to inspect and advise me on my roofing issues. Was on time, gave me excellent service & advice. Spent time explaining everything well. I'd highly recommend him.

Overdue review. I had a slate roof repair done a few years ago done and the work was excellent, complete with pictures, clear explanations about the work being done. We had them come out again today regarding something else and he gave an honest assessment that did not immediately involve me forking over thousands of dollars. Good guy and especially if you have a slate roof.
