Highly recommended for SAT prep as well as all school subjects! A++ Accelerations provides excellent tutoring that gets results, and they truly care about your child. It's definitely a safe, nurturing place where your child will learn, grow, and achieve. If you're like me, eventually your child's schoolwork will surpass your ability to assist. That happened to me when my daughter needed help with 8th grade Algebra and I just couldn't remember enough to be useful. Accelerations to the rescue! Ms. Alves, Mr. B, and the gang not only helped my daughter get As in math, but their patient, positive, and supportive approach helped build her confidence and self-esteem so she no longer dreaded it. In fact she excelled. She continued math tutoring through the end of this, her Senior year, and we are so grateful to Accelerations for systematically building her skills and knowledge for all these years. She also took the stellar SAT training at Accelerations and we can't overstate how unbelievably helpful that training was for not only the SAT, but also the PSAT and ACT. My daughter scored high on all 3 tests and she gives all the credit to Ms. Tokars' SAT training. (Actually, encourage your kids to read as much as possible because that helps too!) The communication between the Tutoring Center and I has been great. The director has visited my school to discuss my student's math assessment and updates me, through email, on her tutoring progress. My student's basic skills has improved and now she participates more in class discussions and completes classwork in a timely manner.
My daughter looks forward for her two sessions a week. We wanted extra attention for her she switched into a new school and it has helped her become more secure with the new learning approach. She also enjoys working with all the tutors.
