3 Best Assisted Living Facilities in Fort Collins, CO

I have been living in senior apartment living quarters during the past 13 years. Rigden Farm Senior living is among the few that have provided a thoughtful program balancing comfortable apartments, varied food menus and activities for resident seniors. What has separated Rigden Farms from others is a staff that considers each resident as a unique person. Activities abound with the staff, and other residents, trying to match each person with the type and amount of activity they would be comfortable with. Including "no organized activity" if the person prefers a more solitary living style. I am one of those. But I joined a "Creative Writing'" class guided by a published author who also resides at Rigden Farms. What I am learning is that my many memories can be organized and enjoyed anew by composing and sharing short essays. In short, Rigden Farms Senior Living provides a unique opportunity to join a community that is welcoming, accepting, and supportive in surroundings that are pleasant and comfortable. Those attributes are enhanced by a management and staff which recognizes and values the uniqueness of each resident.

Rigden Farms Senior Living is truly a gem in our community! The culture here is so warm and inviting — you can feel the care and positivity as soon as you walk through the doors. The staff are absolutely incredible — kind, attentive, and genuinely invested in the well-being of every resident. The entire community has such a vibrant and welcoming energy. It’s clear this is a place where people feel at home. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a supportive and joyful environment for their loved one.

Certainly I agree with other residents’ positive comments and don’t want to repeat. But will say a few words. I have lived at Rigden almost seven years and it is HOME. (I visited all facilities that were open at that time and the vibe I felt when checking them was the strongest at Rigden.). Does one make a decision on a vibe, I did because all other benefits offered by Rigden felt “this is where I belong!” My vibe was right on target. As new facilities become available with more features ( swimming pool for example) one is tempted to relocate. Fortunately, one is not me. Rigden is my community, my neighborhood, my family of new friends. My home where I happily live. And I don’t plan to move because the vibe continues.

Recently toured Parkwood Estates to try and move my mom out of Rigden Farms. Staff were very knowledgeable and the woman who gave the tour was fantastic! Building looks a little old on the outside, but the interior, the rooms, and accommodations were amazing! Will be moving Mom as soon as we are able.

I recently visited Parkwood. I was very impressed with how clean it is, and all that they have to offer their residents. It is clear to me how much Joe the GM genuinely cares about his residents. When I saw him interacting with his residents it was clear to me that Joe goes above and beyond to make sure his residents are happy.

Staff is always so nice to us guest and all the residents that live there. Very friendly and they are all personal. The facility is always clean as well.
