Had a really good dinner here. Started off with the Brisket Egg Rolls, which were fantastic, and the Deviled Eggs, which were good. The Brisket Egg Rolls were unlike anything I've had before and were really, really good. For dinner, had the one meat combo with brisket, baked beans, and potato salad. While the serving size of the brisket was a little small, they tasted great and were really tender. The potato salad and baked beans were both good. The servers we had were really good as well. Offered quick service and were very attentive. They were on it if our water glasses got below a half to a quarter. Definitely a good place to grab good barbecue.

Ordered two meat plate: brisket, pulled pork, mac and cheese with a side of mixed greens. Brisket was tender but pretty flavorless. Pulled pork was also tender with good flavor, not sure which of the sauces were mixed in but it had a slight tang that I didn’t mind. Mac and cheese was cheeeeesy and good texture on the noodles; not the mac where you go for a bite and it all mashes together… Side note: I think they should specify the side of mixed greens is a side SALAD not the collard/mustard mix I was thinking considering the cuisine lol

Excellent spot for BBQ in this area. Smiling and welcoming service and just great food all around. The mac and cheese were indulgent, striking a nice balance of creaminess and savory, without being heavy. I could eat a pound of it. Only 1 type of sausage available, but delicious, crunchy and deep in flavor. Perfect chicken. Light, juicy, tender. The cornbread muffins are a stroke of genius. The brisket has a wonderful peppery crust. The complementary sauces are interesting, albeit a bit too watery and sugary for my taste. But I know this is what the public wants. I am sold. I am definitely going to be a patron of this restaurant from now on. Recommended. Try the Cigar City Maduro (English Style Brown Ale). It is a perfect pairing with smoked meat.

100% approved from a Florida Tourist!! The service was awesome. Staff appeared to be effectively making sure that the atmosphere was maintained and prepared as customers arrived and departed. My strawberry margarita was completely devine after a long day of sightseeing. I came out for a to go order for my son and I, but I did not want to leave. So I ordered our food to go and was invited to sit and have a drink. Everything was brought to my table so I sat enjoyed the atmosphere and music. I'm an extreme people watcher so I watched everyone enjoying themselves, while other people were getting orders to go through Food delivery apps. The food was already prepared and the food deliveriers were coming in fast and leaving out faster..The entire system to watch as an entrepreneur was truly satisfying. Not to mention all the while, I'm supporting a black owned business as myself. This place did not disappoint. I will return with all of my future planned visit in Washington DC. Go here!! You won't regret it.. with friends or alone!! You won't regret it!!

Probably our favorite barbecue place in DC. It is everything you would want-amazing food, good value for money, great staff who know their meats. Particularly recommend the dry rub chicken wings, the brisket, and the brussels sprouts.

Wings are my top 5 Fav. +Brussels sprouts is the perfect combo. Fresh and hot! :) service top notch and nice.

I Loved this place. The platters are a decent price, the draught beers and mixdd drinks are on point. The service was outstanding and friendly. The owner treated everybody as if they were family or good friends. If you live in DC, make this a regular spot. If you come to visit and you want some good Bbq, definitely stop by. I did twice during my 3 days in DC.

Brisket sandwich was authentic Texas BBQ, tender and well rubbed with spices. Hot BBQ sauce was good. Sides of fries and hush puppies were good. Service and atmosphere was good and exactly what you would want from an East Coast Texas BBQ joint.

Fat Pete's provided catering for a large event and the BBQ was a big hit. Excellent service and communication by the team, good value for the money, and of course the food was amazing. I highly recommend!
