TOP 3 SOI 38 REVIEWS
Came here for a group lunch; fast and attentive service. Beautifully presented dishes. Low noise level (wonderful to be able to hear each other. The Pad Cha Talay is lovely. It's a seafood dish consisting of shrimp, scallop, squid, mussel, young peppercorns, Thai basil, rhizome, red chili sauce. Very nice ambiance and decor. The place feels airy with lots of natural light.
Good food, great service and atmosphere. The food plating for some of the dishes was really great, I observed from some of the other guests orders. I would rate the taste of Tom yum soup around 3.5-4 but others were good.
The taste of the food is authentic. Have been to Bangkok a few times & the taste is on point. Loved that the spicy level is actually spicy. The Tom yum & the mango sticky rice was my favorites.

Here’s The Deal: Beau Thai is a well-known Thai restaurant located in Jefferson Market Place apartments in Washington, DC. This trendy restaurant serves Traditional Thai dishes, specialty drinks, and vegan/gluten-free options. The team's story began at a birthday party in 2007. Aschara Vigsittaboot, founder of Beau Thai restaurant, started to cook made-from-scratch Thai food for her family on her mother's side in southern Thailand. One of their core values is honoring the traditions of Thai cooking. The resulting dishes are worth the effort, from their made-from-scratch curry pastes to securing difficult-to-source ingredients. The restaurant takes great pride in what they serves and hopes you find delicious, fresh, and authentic Thai foods. They contribute their services in various locations through catering. TOP 3 BEAU THAI REVIEWS
My boyfriend and I love this place. I love Thai foods as always because they share commonalities with Cambodia, culturally and traditionally. This restaurant is authentic to the north of Thailand and they made creative dishes. I love how they decorate the place. The price is reasonable except for the mango sticky rice I ordered home, which was so much less than I expected. However, would still love to go back again.
While visiting DC, I wanted to find some authentic Thai food, and Beau Thai delivered! I'm always looking for something similar to the pork neck dishes in Thailand, and their pork belly was pretty darn close. And the Pik King chicken was amazing!! Great food! Great service! Cool little spot.
One of the best Thai restaurants in D.C., especially if one is looking for some good fried tofu. I had the Pad See Ew with tofu and it was delicious! The staff were incredibly friendly, and while the restaurant is a little dark, it does have a cozy environment.
