FILOMENA RISTORANTE REVIEWS
First time at this restaurant. Celebrating daughter’s birthday. Service was great. Staff was very attentive and friendly. Food was great. Highly recommend the Oysters Vesuvio as an appetizer as well as the Calamari Fritti. The Linguine Cardinale was amazing (lots of lobster and enough for two to share). We also ordered the Rigatoni con Salaicce and loved it. For the kiddos we ordered penne with chicken. For dessert we ordered the strawberry cheesecake and the cannoli. We all shared and bought some home. Definitely recommend this restaurant and have already made another reservation with friends.
Great place in terms of ambiance, service and service. I ordered a sea food carbonara. It was so rich, the quantity of shrimps clams fish ... was greatly filling. The pasta is immersed with flavors. Strongly recommended.
An excellent Italian restaurant in Georgetown. The Tortelloni di Michele is amazing! Bread service is also great. Service is top notch. The location itself is unique with the decorations. Overall, an excellent ambiance. Do expect to spend at least $35 a person per plate. In my opinion, serving sizes are LARGE. Overall, it’s worth visiting this staple in Georgetown!!.

IL CANALE REVIEWS
By far this is the best pizza I’ve had in VA. The margarita pizza at il Canale is the closest to traditional Italian pizza you can get. The truffle ravioli was perfect in every way possible. Same can be said for the calamari. The atmosphere was very calming and the server was great. 10/10 experience. The prices are also very reasonable. Parking: Extremely hard to find parking.
Great restaurant!! The margherita pizza was amazing, seriously the freshest food I had in the US in the last 5 months! The courtesy bread with a great olive oil was an unexpected but pleasurable surprise. Also great service. Please, keep doing this great job.
Authentic Italian restaurant! I'm Italian and I can confirm. I enjoyed the focaccia as antipasto and eggplant pizza. Great and friendly service. We had a lovely and tasty dinner out with colleagues. I highly recommend it.

CARMINE'S ITALIAN RESTAURANT REVIEWS
We went here for a Christmas Girls Night Out and we had the absolute best time! Our waiter was very attentive and helpful. We asked him for lots of recommendations and he absolutely delivered with some fantastic dishes! I am gluten free so he was very helpful to get our table gluten free dishes to share. The atmosphere in the restaurant was wonderful- classy but relaxed. We definitely recommend going to Carmine's for a nice dinner experience.
Our friendly and professional waiter, Charles, added the perfect touch to our first visit at this Carmine’s restaurant in D.C. The manager and hostess are both phenomenal people that made our experience very memorable! Every plate ordered was freshly prepared, tasted divine, and presented in a traditional Italian family style that makes you feel so pampered!! We are so grateful to the staff for making us feel like family.
We liked the penne a la vodka (very creamy), the fried calamari ( loved the crunch), and scarpariello wings. We remembered to order from the lunch menu, as the dinner servings were large, we still had enough for a meal at the restaurant and a couple more meals at home. Really reasonable prices. We received excellent service from Makayla and the rest of the staff.
