TOP 3 TRYST REVIEWS
Tryst was wonderful! We were skeptical of trying this place after the horrible experience we had in the Diner last week (since they're both owned by the same company). But everything was amazing - the food was delicious and the service by Abby was great. Just shows how much of a big difference a manager can make.
This has been my living room away from home. The hot chocolate with Lavendar and morning latte with Lavendar are my mainstays. But most of all cool vibe - pleasant folks work here - nice crowd - music is not intolerable. Good people watching. Really love and will miss this place.
Incredible environment, super cozy, delicious food and drink! Very busy on a Sunday morning, as to be expected, but a really lovely neighborhood coffee shop. Would love to come back!

We like this charming place, our go-to spot for good coffee and freshly baked treats. The atmosphere is delightfully bright, with plenty of seating options. You'll be spoiled for choice with their delectable selection of baked goods and savory fare, all prepared well with care in their kitchen. The staff are good, always greeting you with a warm smile and eager to make your experience memorable. It's easy to see why this place is our favorite - it's simply the best!
This was one of the best breakfast places ever! By the time we stepped in there was a long line of people waiting to place their orders. The environment was very friendly and the staff welcoming and smiley. We ordered two coffees and two of the tuna sandwiches. They were fresh and mouthwatering. Will the barista was very knowledgeable and friendly. They have a big menu full of different options sweet and savory. You can’t miss this place if you ever visit Washington DC.
The food was great. I had the sweet potato sandwich, and I enjoyed it quite a bit! The banana bread was amazing and the coffee was solid too. Overall, I would definitely recommend it!

TOP 3 THE COUPE REVIEWS
This recommendation from Odd Provisions did not disappoint. It was a beautiful day, friendly staff and great food. The Fried Green Tomatoes were perfect......nice crisp crust and a thick, firm slice. I didn't even miss the sauce, the topping was light and fresh. The Shrimp & Grits were very good, just enough spice against those creamy, cheesy grits. The Veggie burger was a big hit and very filling. My mom said "finally a burger that wasn't all starch or just straight 'shrooms", lol, and very filling. Looking towards the next visit.
Food was good. Quick sitting. Lots of options for drink options including coffee and tea kind of stuff. Service was good and fast. Now Coupe is one of my favorite breakfast/brunch spot near home.
Stopped in with a group of us for breakfast. Good atmosphere and the food was pretty darn good! I'd stop again next time I'm in town.
