CHINATOWN EXPRESS REVIEWS
This place to me is the epitome of A ChinaTown. From the green exterior fourier, the red double doors with half circle windows to the roasted duck hanging in the window. I knew nothing about this place, didn’t bother reading any reviews because of how strongly I was attracted to this place from the exterior. I order there most popular dish which was fresh noodles, bok choy and broth so delicious I had to finish drinking right out the bowl. If this isn’t a landmark of DC, then it should be. Do your self a favor and definitely check them out.
I like tasting different food from different horizons and this time I tried the noodle with roasted duck . The broth is super tasty and the meet is well cooked and juicy . The skin is crisp and the fat is barely noticeable. My only cons is the noodles. They are too cooked and lack the taste I expected them to have. Service is fast despite the number of hungry customers. I recommend for a quick lunch or a diner.
This restaurant has got some great food options as well as a nice little atmosphere inside. The food was delicious and brought very quickly! Great place if you're looking for authentic Chinese and/or American-Chinese food

DA HONG PAO RESTAURANT AND BAR REVIEWS
Awesome dim sum and Chinese food conveniently located in the middle of DC. The service is quick and food was really delicious. The portion sizes for the dishes is also generous. I'd come back anytime.
TOTALLY satisfied my Hongkonger / Chinese dessert sweet-tooth cravings! And please make sure you order your dessert early if you’ll be sad it’ll be gone because it’s first come, first served! Desserts were all a bit on the smaller side in my opinion (no egg tart bite photo because it was petite enough that I just tossed it into my mouth in one bite) but tasty is tasty. Also, Donna was a fantastic server and all of the staff were very kind. Some Dim Sum restaurants feel like I’ve gotta be Mad Max in the Thunderdome to get my orders in (if you know, you know), but this was really chill. I think it’d be a great intro dim sum experience if you’ve never had it before.
Awesome yum cha. You select what you want from a two sided menu that takes the form of a gallery of photos. They bring the food out pretty quickly and it’s pretty good food. Yum!
