I decided on the Hayes Mansion after browsing hotels in San Jose for a few days. I am so glad I did, this place is beautiful and has so much character compared to your average new cookie cutter hotel. The place is beautiful, and there is a lot to see if you appreciate places like this. It's close to stores and the freeway, although I wish it wasn't in a regular neighborhood and was out somewhere a little more secluded. I checked in and was helped by Dennis at the front desk, what a nice guy. We chatted for a few minutes and he took the time to show me where my room and a few other important areas were. Thanks Dennis, you really helped to start my visit off the right way!

Had a wonderful time celebrating my husband's birthday this December here! After seeing that they didn't have a romance package I called and was pleasantly surprised when a front desk staff member, Dennis, went above and beyond to curate a special experience for our stay. Dennis worked with me on a surprise for my husband, making our experience memorable he is a remarkable employee who truly understands the significance of hospitality!Staff were kind and prepared for the big event. The facilities were clean and tidy. Will definitely attend more events at The Hayes Mansion.

We have stayed at the Hayes Mansion several times and have loved it each time. This trip we had an issue with needing to cancel last minute and Jackie at the front desk was amazing and provided the best service! The whole staff here is wonderful! Highly Recommend!

The San Jose Marriott is a fantastic place to stay! The rooms are modern, clean, and super comfortable, with great city views and everything you need for a relaxing visit. The staff goes above and beyond, making sure your stay is smooth from check-in to check-out. The location is perfect—right in the heart of downtown, close to restaurants, shops, and the convention center. The valet parking is really convenient, with fast and friendly service, but just be aware it's $51 per day. The rooftop pool and fitness center are nice bonuses too. Overall, it’s a five-star experience, whether you're in town for business or fun!

I always stay here for my weekly business trips, except one time I was curious to try the Westin across the street - instant regret! The San Jose Marriott is far superior and I will never stay anywhere else. Unlike the Westin, San Jose Marriott offers a lounge, complimentary breakfast, a huge convenience shop, starbucks, Netflix, a pool, and their staff are always so friendly and happy to help. I truly feel at home there, as it is modern, clean, and they treat you like royalty.

The rooms are so modern and awesome. When it comes to USB chargers they have them all. In the side table, desk, and the sofa. The front desk staff were awesome as well. I really love the location in downtown San Jose and can't wait to come back. They always make me feel so welcome.

Beautiful hotel located in the most bustling area. Top notch service from valet (we utilized this service every day) and front desk, to the restaurant and house keeping. We had two rooms and they were beautifully decorated and spacious. We had breakfast in the hotels restaurant, Oveja Negra, and was pleasantly surprised. It can be described as "elevated comfort food". Generous portion sizes with great taste. Not just french toast, but french toast made with a brioche loaf, topped with vanilla bean cream and caramelized banana....spectacular! We now have a forever home when we visit San Jose.

I was very pleased with my first stay at Hotel Valencia. Every single staff member I encountered was kind, professional, and eager to help. I was there to facilitate an offsite and every request I made from printing a couple agenda sheets to making some courtyard tables available for breakouts was handled with cheer and without up-charge. It was so refreshing! The food was great, the room was quiet and well appointed. The "signature scent" was overpowering to me but I realize others in my group loved it.

Danielle was amazing! She served our drinks with a smile and provided excellent service. She went out of her way to accommodate our group for my birthday, making sure everything was perfect. We truly appreciated her attentiveness and kindness. Highly recommend!
