WEATHERLY INN TACOMA REVIEWS

On the occasion of yet another ambulance trip for my husband from CHI to St Joseph's Hospital, Tacoma I was blessed with transport with him as I do not drive. Since this was the fourth or fifth ER trip, and CHI doesn't allow any family to stay at the facility without the patient, I had been given respite care at this facility, Weatherly Inn Tacoma, on each of his hospitalizations. I mentioned to the ambulance driver that I had been blessed with respite care at Weatherly Inn and he said he didn't know much of them. I waited a few minutes and asked him if he minded me asking "why" His response said it all as far as I was concerned: Weatherly Inn stays ahead of residents needs. Emergency transports are fewer, far fewer.

I have had the pleasure of photographing numerous events at The Weatherly Inn. What a lovely residence. All the staff go above and beyond, everyone is extra accomodating, and their space is of the highest quality! I know all of their events will be produced with attention to detail, and include amazing food and service. Two thumbs up!!!.

I spoke with Lori, administrative assistant today to gather information on suite availability and details for a loved one. She was extremely detailed and helpful!! Thank you Lori!!.

My mom was a resident of Franke Tobey Jones for the last 9 years, first in assisted living and then in memory care. The facility and campus are great, but it is the staff that really makes FTJ exceptional.The CNA’s, activity personnel and nurses treated my mom with kindness and compassion from the very beginning, and became her extended family in her new home. When I would visit, my mom always had a smile on her face, and would say “I really like it here!” The nursing staff was so thoughtful and competent in caring for my mom at the end of her life, and also extended support and empathy to me and my sister, which we greatly appreciated. FTJ is the best, and I can’t say enough good things about it!.

We have enjoyed two highly informative visits to Franke Tobey Jones, as prospective residents. The campus is attractive and well located. Rare among the CCRCs we have seen, their independent living options are quite varied--from cottages to garden apartments to third-floor flats with a splendid view. They have a new and impressive rehab center, and an old and very handsome dining hall. Best of all, the people we met, both residents and staff, all seemed engaged and engaging.

My parents have been living at Tobey Jones for many years. My sisters and I are very glad they live there. When any of us visit, we are always impressed with the quality and variety of the food, the smiles and friendliness of the staff, and the cleanliness and appearance of the facility. The staff has always been extra helpful if we have a problem or desire related to our parents life. When we were touring retirement living options years ago, my sisters and I were totally sold on Tobey Jones and delighted that our parents felt the same. Definitely the best decision we made!.

The very caring,, understanding and friendly staff set the atmosphere in this lovely facility. Kindness and warmth prevail and I am proud to show it off to my friends and family. There are interesting activities and great entertainment to keep you as busy as you want to be - or not. I am so happy to live here.

The Merrill community is terrific! My dad felt right at home there from minute one. We’re so grateful to see him settling in well and receiving the support he needs from an exceptional care staff.

The staff and residents at Merrill Gardens at Tacoma are friendly, warm and very inviting. My aunt has had a smooth transition and adjusted quickly. The food is delicious and her apartment is cozy and gorgeous.
